We tried brothers…….. we tried and failed. Most importantly, we tried. The SkyBlock Network will never forget the 100,000+ grass Omar has given away to the community, the almost 24/7 dedication from Calidre and his long awaited application that pretty much went nowhere because of the lack of communication from the server, NotErics’ beautiful island and great personality, and Caleb’s idiocy that brought a great charm to the server. May the Big Four rest in peace, but may they never be forgotten!
Skyblock Network, since the fall of our four beloved Sky Titans, our skies have been shrouded with gloom. These past months have been tumultuous to our hearts and today we grieve the permanent loss of our Titans. May we learn from this sequence of events, and anticipate a permanent ban for any offense, lest we plummet into the ravine of iniquity! And a final word to our beloved Calidre. My friend, we are filled with regret that your offenses for speed bridging in 2014 hindered your ability to be forgiven of your transgressions this day. Skyblockers, take a moment today to ponder this devastating occurrence. May November 8th become a Skyblock holiday in remembrance of the fallen.
I did wonder what Calidres "History of second chances" looked like. ahh yes 8 years ago building a bridge, must have put him on the FBI's most wanted list xD
Just to make sure you know, the post was made by a member of the community that isn't one of the banned player. I believe this is half serious, and half a joke. We know nothing is going to happen, probably not even going to get a mod response, but this was a petition(often used in real life) as another means to see them unbanned. The reason you are getting so much "hate" is because these 4 players are key parts of the server one might say they are the cornerstone to the whole server. I believe you are the troll rolling into this thread starting your point with "lol".
Wasn’t a point it was a suggestion and starting it with “lol” doesn’t mean anything it’s a figure of speech but i’ve learned that people on here take it literally. I apologise for overstepping my bounds, at first i thought it was a serious thread but a few people have told me otherwise. I respect anyone that’s made an impact on the server in the way that they have and i hope they get their second chance they claim they deserve.
Sadly there is little to no consistency in how rules are applied or statements made by staff. The following from the staff manager who herself has admitted to permanently banning a player with no history at all and no evidence of any wrong doing. Drogo himself has been "permanently" banned twice in the last year. Once when no rules were broken at all, and another in which totally unsubstantiated claims were made against him. They claim that permanent bans are only given out in extreme circumstances and after much consideration but they are also, too often handed out rashly! There is so much contradiction, how is anyone to know what is what. There are current staff members that have been banned in the past for serious duping, so how is the Skyblock community to digest all of this? Skyblock Official Site | Skyblock There are instances of Staff changing rules, to validate punishments already handed out?? Drogo recently reported a player, who subsequently made false claims of him and Krissy who was handling that, simply took everything the other party said as fact and passed judgement without even asking for Drogo's input, essentially she was happy to make ruling with only half the information. Drogo subsequently provided his side of the story proving most of what Krissy had said to be false, but she didn't even bother with a reply despite being so clearly wrong. How can we respect staff, when they show a clear lack of respect for the truth or our rights to even make statements against accusations made against us. How is the Skyblock community to have faith in the staff when everything is random and at times, obviously biased. Drogo understands that some staff members might not like what Drogo is saying but he stands behind what he says and can offer proof of it all! So many of the long terms players are aware of most that goes on and if the server is to ever be viewed as fair and just, serious staffing changes need to be made. Until then, players will simply think it a joke. They might not say anything because some of them are fearful of backlash and Drogo may now see this, but Drogo will not shy away from the obvious truth and Noobcrew, if you want a community in which staff and players are respected alike, you shouldn't either. Now Drogo just sits and waits for a staff member to close this thread like so many times before.
This is what Im saying. I literally don’t understand what constitutes a perm ban anymore. I thought it was for the very very very serious things, but Ive seen otherwise, a lot.
I whole heartedly agree, what krissy and mai did is arguably worse than what Cal Eric Omar and Caleb did and the fact that mai and krissy were able to make amends with the staff team literally a month later is ridiculous this is all the reason why the group should be unbanned and given a chance to redeem themselves not to mention what mai and krissy did could have ruined the entire market for rares and that's not something you can fix in a day as simple as that.
As a former staff member, it’s just so sad to see where the administration has gone. Drogo brings up such a great point, but I bet it will be defended by some silly argument even though nothing can change the fact that what Drogo pointed out is a prime example as to where this server’s administration is now. I don’t care if how perm bans are handled on this server has changed since then, but duping is something you almost never see a server just pardon, yet this server did, but we can’t pardon players for something that was so quickly fixed and undone. Could it be because of the two different connections the groups had with the staff team? I mean you look at what Drogo says, and it becomes evident that’s the case.
Wow... I already thought that the latest appeal done by a member of the banned group of players was handled in a manner that is discutable to say the least, but now that I learned about this situation that happened in the past, I am totally mind blown by the discrepancy of how both situations were handled. I understand that it might not be the same staff members that were there during both situations, but if a person involved in giving away duped items was allowed back in the staff team and even promoted to smod, I think someone with basically no bad history and that has proved to be a great addition to this server should be allowed the same chances. If they wanted to give a second chance to the players in that duping situation, that's fine with me, but be at least consequent.
And to anyone who is going to challenge Drogo’s point, don’t bring up how it happened in 2017 or that “the way this server handles perms ban has changed” because Ive heard that enough and I genuinely don’t think it changes anything, at least in this case.
