To apply to be a staff member, locate the 'Staff Applications' section on the 'Forums' page. Before applying, please make sure you read the 'before posting' thread(s) located at the top of the 'Staff Applications' section. You will need to make sure that you meet the requirements before applying. Currently, you do not meet these requirements. You need to have 50 posts (50 messages, found underneath your name to the side of every post you make), be registered for two weeks, have 2FA enabled (tutorial located on the before posting thread) and have a Discord account and be apart of our Discord server. It is also worth mentioning that you do not post farm to get the 50 post requirement. I believe you have good reason for this. However, we also need a large amount of developers, because to be honest, the mob arena is taking way longer to get fixed than it should. We do need more staff though, and I think these people could help. However, I think we need more community projects such as island minigames to make the server more fun. We do need more active mods, because sometimes the chat gets a bit bad. I also reccomend FalcoFalcon because although he does not know the server rules the best, he has very good intent and is often very helpful.
Vetting people for promotions can take a long time, to gauge their community dedication and suitability for moderating. Whilst yes, promotions in some way would help take some load off of the current staff at this time - you’re looking at promotions to helper within a new staff environment they have never been in before. For all new staff it takes a while to get settled, and be trained up to the point of being comfortable handling things on their own. Therefore for a little while, it would be more taxing for the team. It is possible to support the staff’s job through being helpful on forums, discord and in-game. Even without a staff rank you can ease the current team’s job slightly. There will be promotions in due time, just be patient. The current staff team is very capable and they’re doing a good job with what they can do. In regards to the “good old days” when there were many mods on all the time - it hasn’t been like that since at least 2016 - even when there were double the staff team. It has always ebbed and flowed.

no you dont meet the requirements Its a shame frankly.. this is one of the only servers in which the mods created the community sense on this server as well. When you see a mod on they're busy helping people – its rather hard to talk to them anymore. Guess its just a change of 'flow of members' if that makes sense. WhatsUpDoc cheers

Oof I thought everyone already knew that Yea helper, mod, and smod are all voluntary, so you don't get paid. You are simply doing it because you love the server and want to keep it amazing. Shoutout to all of the Skyblock Team, you guys really are the best

OK I'm trying to write an application but I'm having a hard time locating it. so this will be my application... Hello Skyblock Community, I would like to request to be a moderator. I'm 17 years old and I play the on the skywars server literally everyday. When I'm on there are never any mods and people are always hacking, which creates a environment in which many players can't have fun. I want to help make the community better because I personally love the server. Maybe I'm just to much of a millennial to understand how this forum works and I'm sorry for having to post my application here, but I would really love to be considered as moderator so that I can help improve the community.
