My you are funny. I have 15 messages because I was never an active forum member even back in 2014. Listen here boy. You are not some high up person. I have read YOUR messages. As my football coaches tell me and many other players, "What shows your maturity and heart is how you react to any situation thrown at you, you have been given this situation how are YOU going to react." You are reacting childish, assuming things you have no idea of. I hope this application is closed soon. You are only making a fool of yourself.

Sometimes it's best to hold off on opinions until hearing the entire story first. Small details or a little extra background can change the entire "flavor" of a situation; taking a bit more time to look into issues can help me avoid a terrible blunder. Asking around, looking forward alternative opinions or previous history-- easy enough to do and avoids some common problems.

Is this a job application or an angry letter to your ex? That is an incredible wall of angsty text, Zlatan. I am having some serious difficulty separating out your job qualifications from the random insinuations.

In the interest of eating this elephant one bit at a time I'm going to just reply to this in pieces.

Until about a week ago I had no idea who you were, sir. Can I get some references? Who else says you are one of the most mature people here? I'm willing to be persuaded.

Generally speaking I always recommend removing subjects like "maturity" and "honesty" from applications. These are qualities you cannot prove just by talking about them. In a weird way the more you claim to be mature (or honest) the less believable it sounds.

Swap this for a more definable trait like "Reliable". You can prove you are reliable by pointed out how you log on every day for a month straight. This is a qualified thing-- other people can vouch that you're online a lot so you don't come across as some sort of bragging child trying on his father's pants.

Credentials, please. If you are going to be my role model then I would like to know what position(s) and responsibilities you have accomplished. At the very least I want to know if you have ever mentored people before, how many people you worked with and if any of them turned into serial killers.

I am fine with learning from a sixteen year old kid. While you can't join the military, vote, smoke or hold a job that does not mean your opinions are invalid. However you made it a point to say you want to be in charge of those younger than you, so I'm curious: Since I am older than you, does that mean I am your role model?

Rewrite this, Zlatan: If you want to be a community leader please state what you are interested in working with. Do you want to work with players on deescalating situations? Are you interested in emotional and psychological resiliency? Would you want to see players behaving more responsibly? State your goals.

If you're going to spend time in your own job application to criticize other people that's fine-- this is your post to waste. You could be using this space to explain why you are the best candidate because of how much thought you put into each mute/kick. But instead you seem to be dedicated to chopping down everyone else until you're the tallest weed on the compost heap.

So this is a TMZ-style application? Tearing down everyone else to make sure you are the best candidate? WORK IT, SON: Give examples! Call out some Mods! Give screenshots of Mutes/Bans that show how bad the current staff is! Maybe drop a few Staff Reports and then link them on your Mod application. Let's get busy with this.

If your entire thread is about how bad the Staff is and how good you are in comparison then start chucking those Truth-bombs. Let's get specific in here.

Or-- if you want to go another route-- rewrite this to explain how your unique perspective could help cut back on some of the quick judgments and hasty decisions you think you see. Offer your skills at mediation to help the community accept and work with the team instead of posting flaming rants about how bad they are.

Assuming your girlfriend isn't from Canada: Alright, I'll bite. Please list where these years of server experience are from. Contact emails and references are fine, sir. If possible can you provide a reason why you left those server(s) to come here? Minecraft has really only been around 7 years or so; you must have started incredibly early to be managing servers from age 10(?) and onwards.

What positions did you hold? What responsibilities were you in charge of? How big were the server(s) and what size team were you working with? Adding in details like these can only help, Zlatan: The #1 thing that gets anyone hired for a position is experience.

This seems incredibly specific, right down to the "Attention Seeker" quote. Be honest: Was it you?

Details, Zlatan. You're dedicating an entire job application to pointing out the flaws in the team you want to join. Ignoring for a moment how Pyrrhic that is: Don't be coy, man! Name some names, point out some peoples, really dig in that knife and twist! If your goal is to demote everyone until you're the last man standing then stop yanking your hand out before this turkey is stuffed!

Alternative: Explain how you would handle odd, outside the norm situations that aren't clearly covered by the rules. Showcase how you can navigate the weird "gray area" between player expectations and Staff guidelines without setting up total anarchy, "Purge"-style.

It's your application: You could do more to explain yourself without tearing others down.

This is the first positive thing you've said without actively trying to shotgun someone else in the face. Can you detail this a bit more? Talk a little about how methodical you are while discovering the root of a player's problem? Maybe a small bit of explanation about why this might be good for the job you are applying for, Zlatan?

Get to the FailBunker!​

You realize that's the Staff team the owner picked, sir? The same team you are applying to join? I am not an expert on social dynamics but it sure looks like you're kicking everyone in the nuts and then asking them to thank you for it.

Have you thought of rephrasing this to sound a bit more like you're a team player? "There seem to be some problems lately between players and staff. I think I can work with the group to solve a few of them"? Because at the moment it sounds like you want to murder everyone else and run this thing solo.

Also: Excellent! Experience gets people hired. But you're missing a few details here, such as: What was your job??

Were you the grief investigator? Mini-Game Guy? Player reimbursing? Chat moderation? Pervo-skin checker? It's fine to say you were a "moderator" but does that just mean you logged on and ignored chat for the whole day while watching Pokemon reruns? What did you do...?

Well that was an interesting application to go through. I don't think I've ever seen an entire post dedicated to doing nothing but smashing the current team; even the angriest applicant still took some time to detail a couple of good points about themselves without some hit-and-run action on everyone else. Best of luck to you, Mr. Zlatan.

Sorry for coming in again, but age doesn't matter maturity does. Just because you're 16 doesn't always mean you're mature. Before you respond I'm not saying this for attention. This comment will at least try to help your attitude. Because if you reply to everyone's opinion with 'you don't know me' or judging us, then your chance of being a mod will decrease. Man, be calm. mk?

 

Hey just kind of noticed you speak Arabic? How did you "learn" to speak that?
And can you translate some of the sentences I will write down below into arabic? (Just curious )

Most of my hits on the staff were never pointed to you because you and maybe 2 others are the only staff that I respect. I know you worked for military and had all this experience (and hats off to you) but my application is for the other mods that don't have your experience and that's why I said MOST of the staff team is lacking and IF I Joined the team I could help make it better.

And calling this a TMZ and troll application truly breaks my heart because of the amount of work and dedication I put in this application and I feel extremely offended.
