I joined in 2012 when the staff team was competent and not ruled by a bunch of power abusive teenagers.

 

Alright. So I started off in late 2013 (I think November or December?) on a friends account. When I would go over to her house, she had a spare account that I would use and we would play on here. Eventually, in March of 2014, I got my own account and started playing. I remember the first server I played on was Minetime's Skywars, and then here. I think my first skin was a girl with blonde hair, and a blue panda jacket. I joined an island with my IRL friend and we reset multiple times because we kept messing up yikes. We built our island really well and eventually found out about warps, /vote and drop parties. I remember my first god item. It was an oak sapling that I got in a drop party and I treasured it for the longest time, until my friend sold it, lol. I remember going to a skin competition and winning around a stack of iron. I was so excited. I bought my first diamond for 5 grass off of another greenie who was quitting and I bought my coop an enchantment table with 16 iron from a donor. One day, .NET was down for a reset and I remembered seeing something about Hellblock, so I decided to try it with my friends. I fell in love with it. I started a small netherrack island, with the help of princessnerd3, Hoecobo and PopIs_MyLife. Cut back to .NET now. Eventually, our .NET island got boring and I left to join another friend. We got griefed multiple times, sadly, but that didn't stop us. We made a shop, a netherwart farm, a bunch of cobble gens, a cute little town area and an animal spawner area. I remember constantly asking Love__ to spawn us in different coloured sheep. Eventually, we were tired of getting griefed and we started a new island. We had made a dark oak plank island with a fishing pond and a small town area. I met another donor who was really nice to me and my friend and decided to donate multiple DC's of cobblestone, rare items and a beacon to us. Eventually, me and my friend had gotten bored of .NET and moved to .ORG. We bought a bunch of wool and made an island out of Green, Purple and Blue wool. We made a casino, a shop and a fountain. We used to use Hannah's island for mobs and we would use HkTV's island for pumpkins. Eventually, my friend went inactive and I moved back to Hellblock. I bought tons of netherbrick and transformed my island completely. I made a huge box around the island and made pixel arts. I remember one day, we got the whole server involved in getting to level 50 in mob arena to get the netherstar. I sold mine to Nagareboshi for 5 stacks of cobble, 10k on org and 32 diamonds on net. (Cobble was like diamonds/grass on Hellblock.) Eventually, Hellblock had shut down and moved to Mineverse, so the Hellblock community was forced to move to .ORG. I played on .ORG for the next few years until I quit in early 2016. I recently came back in November, and I moved back to .NET. I have no intentions of leaving again.

I'm sure I left out a lot of details, so I might edit this again later.

 

When I first started playing on skyblock I wasn't very social and was on an island with just me and a friend from real life. I didn't really do anything except build on my island. I then met S4ltyC4t and we became friends. She trusted me on her island and we became very good friends. Then, for no particular reason, I just stopped playing on skyblock for a long time. After probably about a year, I was scrolling through my server lists and decided to get back on skyblock. I then got back in touch with S4ltyC4t and after a few days, I joined her coop. After quite a while, I don't remember exactly when, I met another person whose ign was TheAtomSmasher. We played together almost every day, and became good friends. Then one day, I came online and he wasn't there. I have never seen him since that day. At the time I thought that he would have told me if he was going to quit, but I guess not. This was the first time that any of my close friends on skyblock had ever left. I was sad for a few days then I got over it. At that time, I still wasn't social, and I didn't make friends very easily. I was very sad when TheAtomSmasher left, mainly because he never even told me that he was going to stop playing, and S4ltyC4t was my only other close friend. Then I started being more active in chat. I then made some friends along the way. I don't remember their names, all that I know is that they all don't play any more. Then one day, I met WiFi . This was probably at least a year ago, when he was a donor50. We became very very good friends. During the 2016 Halloween drop party, my alt won a head. I was new to selling rares, and I sold it for a beacon. I probably could have gotten more for it, but at least I got something. I used the beacon, the diamonds that I already had, and S4ltyC4t threw in a few diamonds, so that I could get donor50. After probably a few more months, me and Wifi decided to create a coop together, and went through a lot of islands. Then we recently decided to share rares. During the Christmas sale, a friend bought me donor100. A little while afterwards, Wifi bought himself donor100 for an unplaced crew head. We then basically just had fun buying and selling rares. We had many losses, I once lost 32 org spawners, and we had at least 2 times, where we bought a rare, then the price dropped almost instantly. I remember buying an unplaced crew head, then almost immediately the prices started dropping. The same thing happened with a 2k14 bunny head a while ago. It got me sorta mad at the time that I just lost quite a bit of diamonds, although looking back at it now, it is kind of funny because I have horrible luck with things like that. I also met Eleanora and TaliaLikesNyxaMoreThenAmy (Nyxa) when I joined their Teamspeak channel one day. Wifi then got moderator, and that is pretty much it. Nothing major really happened in-game after that.

I'll edit the post if I remember any other major evens during my time here. Overall, I'm glad that I joined the server. I have made many good memories, as well as some bad ones.

 

I will write it later, but all I can say for now is that the community shaped my story, and still is doing it. I love you guys .

Mein Kampf- A struggle in skyblock

 

Couldn't agree more, my time in 2012-2013 was the best era.

 

Skyblock Story:

I've wanted to play Minecraft since age 8 I believe. (Around 2014-2015) My brother had this friend, who had a Minecraft account and he let me share the account with him so basically I looked like a boy for a year of playing on Skyblock. I was absolutly addicted to Skyblock! It was one of my first server, I joined it around 6 weeks after being on Minecraft. When I joined, I felt disoranted, I felt like I didn't belong because I saw all these people chatting, and I was like woah.. thats a lot of people. I shouted out "how do i make a is" because I had no idea how to spell island xd, no one really helped me ever so I had to learn to do a lot of things myself. I got scammed at least 15 times, as I'm stupid. Forunetly I never got ban, which I wish I had, as I had griefed a lot of people. I myself knew it was agenst the rules to trade dirt, and to trade buckets and stuff, so the stupid self I was I had to of griefed at least 5 people? I must of taken at least 32 dirt from all the islands I griefed. Surprisingly no one ever found out and I was never caught. I used to stay on Skyblock for hours on end, I remember one time I stayed on until 5am and cried myself to sleep thinking that I had failed at life xd. I had this mini banner shop, and that was basically my island. I had a little thing that this yter guy, name stampynose or something had it was a mini version of a like farm for animals and I had made it except I couldn't get any dirt xd. So I then had the smart idea to place grass, and farm it with a silk pickaxe lmao, I placed the grass, tried to mine it then I got this message "You cannot break this block with Silk Touch" I then cursed so loud that my family heard me. So back onto the story, I wasn't able to chat, not allowed. I used to stay true to that, but then I was like hey this isn't working, so I then started chatting with this like donor10 warshipping him because I thought he was rich asf, turns out I was wrong. After living on his island for around 3 months, he went inactive and I was lonely. I then a few weeks later got locked out of my account for not knowing the email as minecraft had migrated. The problem was I couldn't ask my brothers friend because they weren't friends anymore, so I finally got my own personal account. The day I got it I was so excited and hopped right on mc, a few weeks later I bought donor10, and continued to work on my island. I then met this girl at camp, we were best friends for a while. We used to play three servers constantly together, but never sb. So that led me to become inactive on sb, so I would say I was inactive for around 2 months. After that I started playing again, and got her to come on once or twice. She never enjoyed it but I adored it so a few weeks after that I got donor25. I then upgraded to donor50 a few months later, and was so happy. I had a cute big island, and I adored it. But I was so sad, because my friend joined my island, and I wanted to make a new island, so I got an alt and added it. I then left my island, and my island got handed over my island my inactive/quit friend. I only knew her from mc, so I couldn't kick her or anything and I wasn't trusted. I then lost that island and created a new one, and got donor100 with my own money. I then made a new island which is my old island, and I adored it when I made it but I hate it now. So going up to now, I lost that island and now have so many great friends, and I love all y'all lil nuggets. I hope to make new history and become all of your friends one day! *also I got upgraded to d250 and wasted all my rares on it but I wuv my rank so I'm happy*

Here's my story.
One day, during the last day of school during my Freshman year, which was like June 2015, my friend, 2hawk, told me about this server during 2nd period World History. So I was like, "Cool, whats the ip?". He told me the ip. When I went home, I tried the ip, but didn't work. So I texted my friend again what was the ip and he told me again. This time I typed it in correctly and finally got onto the server. When I saw spawn I was running around and decided to immediately start an island. So I did and here I am starting a new island. Note that I had zero experience with playing Skyblock, so this was new for me; the server and skyblock itself. I new a little about how to play Skyblock. When I was trying to start a cobble gen, I failed and destroyed the lava XD. I was like holy **** what do I do now?? After a couple minutes, I decided to give up and jump off my island XD. So a couple weeks later, I came back and decided to give it another try, this time I knew how to turn the obsidian into lava. After about couple weeks of playing, I got a decent island set up. I invited my friend, 2hawk, to my island and we played for a while until he left. During the summer, I kept on expanding and expanding my island, adding new things like a pumpkin shop, a wheat farm, etc. However, my friend told me he isn't going to play on Skyblock anymore, since he went on to a different server. I got kind of sad, but that didn't stop me from playing Skyblock. I loved it a lot. Overtime, I met some cool people like furtney, Al3x_1__ , this player, whom I forgot his name, JakeTheSnakeJ6, and Fight4Glory. But one day when I got on, my island got griefed and asked for a mod. At that time I saw Lemonade and asked him to help me. He told me to go on forums and create a report, which I did and was the first time I joined forums. So after all of that messages, I got a refund of wool, which seemed ok, I mean I didn't get the banners back, but at least got the wool for it though.

Fast forward about a year later, here I am with a banner shop, casino, flower casino, Big Banner shop, my house, an auto cobble generator, a cocoa bean farm, a vine farm AND a ton of people that trusted me!! :-D
