I think the main reason it's on the forums (other than those already mentioned) is for your news feed: you can keep track of what the people you follow have been up to. I don't personally use it (nor do I know anyone who does) but it could be potentially useful for anyone who wishes to just use the forums to communicate with their friends. https://www.skyblock.net/account/news-feed It's also under the top right account name.
