As long as I'm not vacationing, I can be on any time.

Since I've returned I have been fairly active on discord, mainly at night.

The official Date is March 9th, 2019.
Used to play back in 2013 off my brother's old account.

Have you ever been banned on any platform?
Yes, I Have been banned for suspected duping(both servers) in 2019 and banned in November 2020 for chargeback(survival), both of these have been resolved.

Do you have any past moderation experience?
Yes, I have a lot of experience with moderation plugins from past servers I made or was part of staff teams.

Why do you think you should become a staff member?
Before my ban I tried going for helper for a good bit of time, I worked hard towards it and I feel the same way now. Some may feel I should wait before I apply for helper since I just returned, but I still retain all my knowledge of Skyblock and helping people, and have been active since. Some may feel like I need more time so they can see my activity, If you feel that way wait a couple of weeks and come back to see that I will continue to be active.
I Will list a few of my traits and go into detail about them below:

Mature:
I feel as a person I am very mature. I've had multiple jobs and have worked in many different environments. When I first applied for staff in 2019 I felt I was already mature, and from there I've got older and grown even more experience with life and learned to be more mature, Of course, like everyone though, you may still see me joke around in chat.

Friendly:
Many people would say I am friendly, inside and outside of the Skyblock community. Whenever I meet new people we tend to get along well almost immediately due to my friendliness towards others. As a staff member, it is always important to be friendly to any player one would come across to keep their Skyblock experience well.

Dedicated:
I am very dedicated to being a helper on Skyblock. I've had two past helper applications ranging from 09/24/19-11/25/19 and 11/25/19-12/13/20 Which is 15 months of applying for helper. The only reason this stopped was because of my ban/inactivity. If I hadn't had been banned I know I would still have that application up till this day because of the dedication I have to Skyblock and helping the players.

Caring:
I consider myself a very caring person. Almost everyone that comes into my life I care for unless they do me wrong in some sort of way. I treat all with the care and respect they deserve

Nice:
I am a very nice person, whether it's someone I already know or if it's a new person I meet in Skyblock or in school. I think it's important to treat others how you would like to be treated, as what goes around comes around. People's days can change by one person being nice to them, and I like to be that person. Being nice is a major trait a staff member needs when helping players or when playing the server.

Helpful:
As a Helper it is important to have knowledge of this server, as of writing this app I have 63 Days of playtime, I can use this experience to help other players, and I have. Over my time in Skyblock I have helped dozens of players, new or experienced. Yes, I have given them grass, helped them build, but I've also taught people correct commands, helped new players get that sapling they were never able to get with /kit sapling or tell them warps, how to use crates and vote, Along with many other things.

Active:
Even though I go to school and have a job, ever since my unban I've managed to stay consistently active. I am aware I have not been unbanned for very long, but since then I have maintained 35-40 hours while playing, more with some afk hours. I would appreciate no one to base their opinions on this subject yet. I would like to prove over the next few weeks I will remain active before anyone bases anything off of activeness.

Trusted:
I am a very trustworthy person in many people's eyes. In Skyblock people trust me with /trust access to not grief them. At work, I'm trusted to watch the main lobby by myself while the manager has to go upstairs, also trusted with the keys to the registers, and to do my job properly. My parents trust me to be able to go hang out with my friends and go to places without them. My friends trust that they can rely on me, and many other people can trust me.

Honest:
I am a very honest and upfront person. I see no point in lying because, at some point, the truth always comes out, and hiding it can make things way worse than they have to be if you just start with the truth.

Non-Biased:
When being in charge, and dealing with many situations it is important to not be biased and to base results on facts, this is how I view any situation.

Nice application.
I would suggest losing some of the red text, only because it’s quite intimidating when trying to read it.
This of course is nothing against you as a person it just makes your application harder to read

I told you to wait a lil longer before posting due to that less than recent kerfuffle (that wasn't your fault and happened about a year ago anyways), but you've yet to prove yourself to the community from my eyes.

So I will remain neutral until I see fit

I mean vorty Its a little soon but since I understand the situation and how it was not your fault I wont judge you for it. Ok so Neutral. While you are a nice person I haven't see you help much. Also please loose the red text..

 

At the moment, I'm going to be neutral. There are a few reasons why and some of them have already been said above.

• Your permanent ban was just lifted and you applied right away. It would be best to wait a while so you can get to know what's new on /skyblock and build some new connections. It would allow you to help and so others can recognize your helping nature.
• I don't really see you help in the help channels on discord. It's pretty limited so try to boost on that whenever you can. I know there are times when others jump in and doesn't give you the opportunity but try to help whenever possible. Your discord activity is not bad though. You have general conversations and I see you in VCs a lot which is nice!

Those are just my main reasons on why I'm neutral. Hope you understand. Good luck Vorty! :')

 

This is exactly how I was hoping people would treat this application for now, just mainly want people to be aware I am trying to go towards helper again so that they can go neutral and come back in some weeks with an updated reply after they have seen my activity and helping.

Yea at the time of creating this application I was using the Bold lines to separate different sections and make everything neat but I’ve realized they are overall just unnecessary, also being on mobile now, it looks VERY bad on here. As for the red text, I was trying to match the colors, mainly to my banner with my skin. I tried using a darker sort of red to not burn any eyes, however looking at it on my phone with full brightness I 100% agree and will edit my application colors and the bars today.

Thanks for your reply I have seen the change-logs since Ive been gone and have definitely been on discord more this time around on Skyblock and im glad you’ve noticed Also yes usually I do get beat in the help channel’s, also would like to add that I have been getting used to the server again, been playing a lot these few days and plan to continue, Im glad with the neutrals as it gives people time to see me in game and on other platforms before they can give their ratings.

Vorty you are an amazing person and I think that you would be amazing to see as staff. Even tho yes you were banned I feel as the ban shouldn't have happened in the first place and it was out of your control. I do feel you are knowledgeable about skyblock too. However, since your unban I have not seen you around on economy as much and, to be honest it makes sense since your wanting to play a ton on skyblock but just make sure you don't block out economy. I do have to say that I suggested for you to wait a bit for people to get used to you back into the sb community and that it would take some time so for now. It also seems you might be rushing a little bit to become staff and for that reason im going to have to say neutral for now.

I honestly would agree I have not been popping to eco as much as I would like to these last few days, even though I was playing eco before my unban I should pop in every so often now that I'm unbanned. Im gonna stay neutral, since im pretty sure you've been perm banned before, but if you waited a little longer i would support your a kind person!

Best for you to see be on the help channels often in the skyblock discord more and not mentioning anything far-controversial, Could stick with support if you did more successful work for the application .

 

I saw this earlier but could not respond due to being in class, I was gonna explain how I do not get notifications on my phone for some reason on the help channel, but I found out I had the server muted, but the help channels, general and other things unmuted. So because the server was muted I could not get notifications, but thats now fixed so you will probably see me there more often

As for talking about the ban on the application I’d definitely like to avoid it but its hard when most the replies are such like “Should've waited longer since you just got unbanned” But yes I will take note of this and try harder to avoid it

I know I said I'd comment on this ages ago so I want to start with apologising for taking my sweet time!

As a lot of the other responses, I am going to go neutral leaning towards support for now.
I see you have a lot of potential, your activity is consistent across platforms but you should come say hey on eco every know and then.

Of course - we can't forget you have just come back from a ban which I know myself, which wasn't entirely your own fault! However...
You always assist in game when players need it and often check the help channels - the dedication is obvious.
I am only saying neutral now as you settle back into the server.

I will be sure to update my rating if anything changes.

I'm glad you've noticed my activity and dedication, as for checking up on eco I agree, I like to check up on eco as I have some friends over there but I get caught up on projects in skyblock, but will definitely try harder to get there more.
No problem I got kind of sick of the red as well

I have been waiting for this day! I would be ready to see Vort as staff with open arms and here's why. Vortext has been a MASSIVE help on our coop island. He also spends a lot of time on Skybock which means he would be a great help especially in late hours when no staff are usually online. I've on countless occasions seen him also teach instead of just give (Like say a greenie asks for diamonds for free, Vort would take the time to show him how to set up shops and trade) which I find very helpful coming from a new players perspective, as it can be hard to understand everything when you are new. Lastly Vort handles situations very maturely (often times more maturely than I would handle them and he's younger which shows a lot). So even though idk how to react with support, I give this application my full support.
