I am very much against veganism. Who are we to take away the life of another plant? I've protested many times against this in the vegetable isle at my local supermarket. I eat mud, dirt and rocks. Lifeless objects that can only do me good that come from the earth. ps: the earth is flat
You need to cook your pork. The tapeworm eggs die with the heat. Other Worms as well. What you are saying here is used as justification by muslims and is from a time where is was not always possible to cook meat. As for Veganism, Einstein was alread pointing towards the fact that if humanity wants to continue to grow like this AND survive, it will have to at least massively cut down its meat consumption. Because 1kg of meat Needs 50 times more agricultural surface than 1 kg of edible plants. I do admit I'm struggling with that. And I'm already eating meat at 5 meals per week, at most. But there are still huge efforts to be made and countiousness to arise in industrialized countries. The biggest danger Comes from rising countries like China and India. There are have always been almost vegans. And now they getting richer, they start to eat more meat. At a very high scale. We cannot fault them for that, we've been eating meat en masse for centuries before them. But this is a issue increasing the world meat consumption although western civilisations tend to reduce it.
We shouldn't stop eating meat just because animals have Feelings in the first place, but on that subject I totally agree with this reply here : But Plants Have Feelings, Too! | HuffPost
