Update to 1.9 or above

Before you post "BUT WE CAN GET BLAckLISTED!!!!!" I'd like you to know that they now blacklist via Netty so 1.8 servers can be blocked too.

I'm suggesting that we update to 1.9 for:

- New blocks such as Purpur Blocks

- New items such as Chorus Fruit

- Elytra and Dragon Head

- Dual wielding so you can hold two items at once

- New enchants such as Frost Walker

and many more features.

 

I feel like it should be updated, however, people may better understand if you expounded more and expressed why exactly you want this passed.

 

You seem confident about that–just stating it without giving any points. Instead of blatantly stating theres no reason we shouldn't, why not give reasons stating why we should? It is a suggestion, might as well make it considerable.

Yes I agree, you have a valid point there. I am just in support in case they are willing to do this and amp up the ranks.

 

They would be removing perks, EULA says no unfair advantages. Everything would be cosmetic unless they were to find a loophole to keep them the way they are.

Okay but you're literally just stating new features added to vanilla minecraft. We can easily obtain this information by simply looking up 'minecraft 1.9 updates'.

When I suggested giving us reasons; I meant reasons. Not redundant information you can simply find through one google search. Any benefits of installing these new features to Skyblock? What are the pros of adding the Elytra to Skyblock? Aren't they just wings lol. Have you considered the cons of updating? Zephyr makes a good point.
