You aren't being rude, don't worry . I agree if your making another player feel bad and cursing at them in a mean way, they deserve a ban. But if your just playing with your friend and you die or something in a game- you curse and get banned? In my opinion, that is dumb.

 

Why should it be any different if you say a curse word in chat? That would be a double standard >.<

Ah, see that is where I believe you misunderstood me. While we are trying to limit the amount of cursing players use, we are not negating it entirely. We completely understand friendly banter between friends and the occasional accidental swear due to something happening in-game, but what we are really trying to keep a handle on is players intentionally coming onto TS to flame one another and using ridiculous amounts of profanities, racist slurs, etc.. I hope that clears it up some.

 

That makes a lot more sense. I think that is one of the better rules then

 

Rule 9: Ban all clients. Very clean and efficient way to have the rules followed.
