    Pretty much the title

Was wondering why my sugarcane didn't grow an inch after several hours, did several tests and found that if the block sugarcane is planted on (not moss) is on top of a moss block, it does not grow. Checked there was no cropper on the chunk.

    Three tests I did

Dirt on cobblestone and Water on cobblestone - grew
Dirt on cobblestone and Water on moss - grew
Dirt on moss and Water on cobblestone - did not grow

This sugarcane has been here for 1 whole IRL day, you can see how sugarcane dirt/sand that is on top of moss does not grow. What the water is on top of doesn't matter after testing

As soon as I replace the moss block with other blocks, it starts growing. Other crops were for testing if there was a phantom cropper / see if it happens to other crops

I agree. However, that means the plugin has a bug as it should stop looking when it sees either no sugarcane directly above moss or other blocks like dirt/sand.

You can post a bug report here and the dev team will look into it at some point
