I agree with you, Krissy.

A note though;
you mention Cyp, his work and how the server would crumble to pieces without him.
Yes. The server would be dead right now, without him.
But truth be told, the server is crumbling to pieces, and has almost reached to the point where it's considered dead.
Yes, it has a few hundred regulars.
But this is nothing compared to what it used to be.
I remember when the server was full with 150 players. 300. 400. And finally, 500.
This server was full all the time, and now doesn't peak at 400 that often.
When there are below or around 100 players, there was a time when it was atleast triple the amount, at the same point of the day.

And this doesn't only apply to players.
The Net staffteam is pretty much gone.
People resigned after I did (the first time) and I knew I had to get back.
It was starting to get rough with the lack of people and dedication.
People resigned and got demoted after I resigned again.
This is when it really went to hell.
Over the course of 12 hours (practically everyday) I saw 0 to 2 mods on. After 12 hours I was less consistant in checking on online staff, so I can't really speak for the rest of the half of the day (although I can imagine the same scenario).
The mods who do get on, are on for 10 minutes, top.
I get this whole "having a life outside games" etc etc, because I used to be like that.
I dedicated 12+ hours each day once I saw the lack of staff.

You guys want a fun fact, about the good ol' "having a life" explanation?
Many of those spend their time on other servers, playing games
Take this as rude or whatever, but the lack of dedication and will to work was getting on my god damn f***ing nerves.
I don't know how many this scenario applies to nowadays, because this was the case a few months ago.
Spending hours on minigames, such as Hypixel's server, walls etc and then saying you don't have that much time to moderate? Well, no s***.

Anyway, I guess this was more of a vent post than anything.
But hey, here's the perspective of a guy who saw a lot, and kept his f***ing mouth shut to remain polite.
To round up;
The server is going down hill, there is no denying that. It's a fact.
The dedication that once was the pride in this server's staff (and which I bragged about and being so proud over) has gone down significally. Don't blame this on school. I've been around than most people. This has little to nothing to do with school season.

Saving the experience for the people who are still faithful and still find enjoyment in this server is an easy fix.
Don't leave 12 hour gaps in the god damn day.
From 2-5 Mods online at all times to 0-2 on a span of 12 hours is showing really well.
There are qualified people out there.
There are people who want to get the chance.
Give them the chance.

The TMod rank is a stupid and useless rank, IMO.
But in times of needs, it's by far the best method to go about this.
And let me reassure you,
Skyblock is in a time of need.
