Made a thread about this a while ago, received quite a bit of hate.

 

I Think hidden content is only necessary in a ban appeal, In a report and if players are breaking a rule etc, But I do believe in some cases hidden content would get off-topic in some cases including what krissy said about the spleef thread, So yeah I agree

 

It shouldn't be necessary unless used for discussing a report or whatever, and initially, you could just use a convo

 

I actually didn't bother clicking this thread yesterday cause I assumed it was a message for the mods (judging from the title).
I agree with this. It's frustrating to see people (not just mods) posting in hidden content in Off topic and other sections. I understand that it should be used in certain circumstances but not for general posts. Thank you for posting this.

 

I actually feel that the best place to communicate discussion regarding a players bans are on the appeal itself, since everything is in 1 place, and we don't have to worry about flipping back and forth between staff chat etc.

But yea, as a non mod I used to get really curious and freaked. Just try to keep it to a minimum

If someone's ban appeals is filled with 2 out of 3 pages of Hidden Content conversations; then it's gone too far I am sure that most individuals (I'm saying most) can provide adequate information as to why they were unbanned. Also, anything I may have to say can be said outloud, in front of the banned person and the rest of the world.

The only time I used Hidden Content was to warn staff of either their behavior in a thread or to include a quick answer to a questio.
