    Just curious, I have this thing where I can't decide how big I should build.. Can anyone suggest me the size of the island I should build (e.g. 10x10 )

    just make it not too big not to small, it can be around the size of the current islands, or slightly bigger, is how i did it

    please try to look at it :D i tried my best ;-;

    the part where there are cyan clays, ice and stained glass is meant to be water btw

    it also looks like as if theres nothing around it because i made my render distance to 6 xD

    I'm really sorry if the island is too big D: but i'm used to building big D:

    Intro

    Standing on a skyblock starter island should invoke a lovely feeling. A peacefulness after chaos of an old island is wiped from existence. But standing on an island with one sad tree, one sad chest and a L shaped dirt and grass block doesn't make the feeling last as you rip up the dirt and strip the island to the bedrock and contemplate what to build standing above the icy void. Wouldn't it be nice to mine cobble for your platforms staring at more than just the empty sky? What if a new island was something more...

    The Zen Garden is a starter island of peace. Whether you chose to keep the garden, mine it, or even make your own with what is provided you will delight in standing on your new island for the first time and contemplating what to build.

    The Showcase

    The Island is designed to be fair to anyone who uses classic skyblock except with extra leaves and logs. It contains the following:

    ❤️ 318 Oak leaves
    ❤️ 48 Oak Logs
    ❤️ 90 Stone
    ❤️ 39 Grass and 32 Dirt (Total 71 Dirt to match current starter islands)
    ❤️ 4 Sand
    ❤️ Extra items (1 chest, 3 sugarcane, 1 water, 4 trap doors, one torch, two stairs, 2 signs, flowers, a glowstone block, 1 brown carpet and bonemealed grass + Bedrock as estimate where people should spawn)

    If the beautiful large tree is not an option, fear not. There is a wonderful normal tree version which is doesn't make the island any less Zen, but more fair as it has less logs and leaves.

    Conclusion

    I always have loved gardens and the idea of a new island being something you can choose to keep or treasure. Hearing the water flow while planning the ideal island, and having extra resources at the start to create something truly yours is one of the best feelings. Not being an overly confident builder myself I think everyone should have a starter island that looks different... so no-one is stuck with a cobble platform as a beginner and can stand on something they feel proud of.

    This is a little place of Zen for everyone to enjoy,

    STARTER ISLAND COMPETITION
    Dear Skyblock, I read the thread by fungamer333 of an island
    competition for the new SkyBlock server, so I decided to make my
    custom island for it. It is a normal, small and simple starter island
    anyone will enjoy, it has sand, a tree, the chest and the spawn bedrock!

    I think it is a good island to start SkyBlock, because it is a nice home to
    spawn in when you teleport back to your island, it is the spark that will
    make the server have more players!

    My in-game name is: JuztAndy.
    The island name is Island.
    Download schematic.

    on doing different biomes for the islands, such as ocean, desert, messa, and
    custom biomes for ranks, for example: Donor 10 = Desert, and so on.

    The default island is already going to be available. If you want to keep it the same shape/layout, that's fine, but you have to make it different in some way.

    Multiple islands are fine!

    I suggest keeping relatively the same size or a little bigger than the current default island. All the submissions so far are a good size.

    Island Name:     Beginners Island (cobble gen is pre-built away from island spawn point.) (the obsidian would have to be changed to lava mineverse wouldn't let me place lava)


    Island Name:     Expert Island (chest is below bedrock)


    Island Name: SandTrap (careful what you mine)(wood is hidden but enough is there)

    Can all be found on mineverse creative plot 59:102 owned by nateasham (not sure warp or visit commands)
    Feel free to use any or all designs I'm only interested in 1 prize so more submissions could be chosen.
