A YEAR ago

 

I'm going to be honest here. People change. I am not who I was a year ago, no one is who they were a year ago. They can either change for better or for worse. In this case, J has changed a lot. I respect her very much, and not just because we're friends, but because she's proved to others and myself that she is capable of being a sweet, mature and responsible person.

J, you would be a great Moderator. You've done stuff in the past, we all have, but we have to move on.

How is that possible if you ignored her for a while?

 

I remember you saying you'd never apply, back in the day.
But yeah, total support. You'd be a fantastic addition to the org team, and just the team as a whole. Youre super friendly, open, approachable, active, and just give org a bit more of a "fun feeling" when youre on. Just from skimming over the comments on the last page or so, I see theres a bit of back-and-forth around a few things that J had done in the past. Things have been said - its in the past. I'm certainly not saying its not worth mentioning, nor am I saying any non-support is wrong. But I am a strong believer in people changing. Ive certainly witnessed it, firsthand, in J.

You have helped me a lot and put up with me always interrupting you on ts (sorry ;-; 3). Along with that you respect the other players, and sometimes make more mature jokes, but it usually doesn't bother many players because they are light hearted etc.

This was an old introduction, made last year at October 2015, which was based around the time where I was having an identity crisis. The time when I have said rude, immature and racist things to fit into what I thought to be my friend group. I'm ashamed to even think about the fact that I was incredibly immature last year, since it's definitely not me this year. I know most of you might find it hard to believe when reading all the comments, but I've grown up and realized that some things are not to be made fun of, and that there is a border between being rude and being humorous.

Making an introduction doesn't seem to bad of an idea. I don't know why I didn't make one earlier when I returned and became active again 6 weeks ago. I'll make sure to make one sometime today to ensure everyone that I have changed and I am not the person I was last year. Thank you for the suggestion.

 

Did you "grow up" before or after this app was made?
More specifically when did your behavior change for the better?

 

I'd say I grew up before this app was made. After quitting skyblock.net, and leaving the community for a year (perhaps), I found myself change for the better. Sure the occasional jokes slip in, but I make sure it's not that explicit/highly offensive to say in public chat. I think my behavior changed for the better the moment I cut ties with those I spoke with that influenced me negatively last year, and that I'm improving and becoming a better person by the minute. I'm still currently working on personal issues, and I hope that those said issues will not affect my moderating.

um she came back 6 weeks ago but ok. I don't know what she was like last year, but if it is what everyone is saying then she has definitely changed for the better. You have my full support.
