Zombie pigmen have been re-enabled in the overworld Previous per-chunk limits on pistons, dispensers, droppers and hoppers have been replaced with a new island limits system to help reduce lag Players are allowed up to a certain amount of hoppers and spawners, depending on the size of their island Players are shown a counter whenever they place or break spawners or hoppers so they can track their usage If an island is over its allowed limit of hoppers or spawners, they will operate much more slowly until they are brought within allowed limits, for best results, stay within the allowed limits Island owners and coop members can use the /limits command to check their island's limits and counts The 30-second cooldown on /spawner has been lowered to 15 seconds to make it easier for players to rework their grinders to work within the new limits The island /level command has been rewritten and optimized, it now runs in real-time with very little lag The code that shows players island welcome messages when they move across island boundaries has been optimized to reduce the number of calculations and database lookups needed to determine whose island a player is on This should help reduce lag, especially when there are large numbers of players online Whenever obsidian forms on an island, the owner and coop members within 24 blocks of the obsidian will receive a notice informing them how to get their lava back, if they are within 24 blocks of the obsidian. This should help new players who make a mistake when making a cobblestone generator UPDATE: There are a few known issues with the update that we are working to resolve: Players may receive multiple copies of island greetings messages. This has been fixed in development and will be resolved the next time the server restarts. Changes to island limits due to purchasing an island expansion do not take effect until the island has been unloaded for at least 10 minutes. This has been fixed in development and will be resolved the next time the server restarts. We have identified a major discrepancy between island levels calculated by the old new /level command given identical islands and block value settings. This is unintentional, and are investigating further. We hope to have a fix in place in time for the next scheduled server restart. Thanks everyone for your kind patience and understanding as we work to fix the problem. FINAL UPDATE: The bug with the island leveling code has been fixed in development. We've verified that the island levels now match exactly between the old and new versions of the leveling code, except for bugs in the old version which calculated island boundaries incorrectly. The fixes have been pushed to the economy and skyblock servers and will take effect the next time the servers restart.
Thanks for this Leee Leeeroieee i have already noticed a bug in the island boundaries thing, it sometimes spams the welcome message 2 or more times And the limits thing doesnt work, i placed 10 pigmen spawners on my main and my alts island and now when I type /limits it says 20/10 placed
Leeerioeee accepts my archived suggestion from while back! Thanks for the update! How many hoppers and Spawners are allowed on an island before the run slower? Maybe its per IP and not per island?
The issue with it displaying multiple island greetings has been fixed in development and will be fixed on the production servers the next time it restarts. It's supposed to be per island. It might be a bug. I'll test it out.
Hey Leeeroieee , any idea why this happens? When I enter an island this message gets doubled. It doesn't happen all the time, though
It's happening to me aswell, but when I joined the server I got my own island message 3 times in a row.
