I agree, there used to be a server I went on and they reset twice. The first time they lost around 50-100 players. And the second time they lost everyone, and the server now only gets 3-10 players on their skyblock server. Keep in mind that this server is still very popular, but they reset one server and it totally downfalled for them. So I'm going to say no support. I think Cyp can make changes without doing a reset, and even though some of the island do cause lag its better then losing 100's of players due to rage, and boredom.

 

Just to add to your part about economy being wack.

I read some of the archives as well as what mod did what. I mean the basics is all in this screenshot.

 

Also, I didn't mention but in most resets you lose all your items even in your enderchest and island. So all the rares from 2013+ would be gone.

 

What this server needs isn't a reset. It needs a lot of other things, but a reset isn't one.

 

I agree 100%. We can fix it many other ways instead of a reset.

 

I have a lot of opinions and ideas as to what this server needs. But I won't speak them, because the second I do, it is taken as disrespect.

 

No support. I spent so much time playing and transferring my items from org to net, I don't want to wast my time and lose my items.

 

Well, I didn't tell you to waste your time. Why do you think I left? because I was wasting time. I could be playing on a laggy server that is struggling in it's old age, or I could be enjoying life, playing a less laggy game, etc. Your no-support is biased, because the only reason you don't support is because of your current status in game. A person who truly cares for the community will set aside their own pride, and consider things for the greater good. Sometimes the best thing that can happen requires some sacrifice on your part. I guess I am neutralish regarding this. This server needs more than a reset, but I am leaning to support because a reset could possibly benefit the server. I guess you decide what is important to you. Is it your own stuff, or is it what is best? I know it's hard to choose to sacrifice something, but sometimes it's required.

 

Instead of a reset, I think Cyp should hire an island removal crew for people who haven't been active in two years or so.
