dude, just tell cyp to erase old islands, inactive > 1 year or so. If there's a full reset, he's gonna have the same problems: people quitting cuz this server has nothing to offer.
it's like when mineverse's skyblock reset, only a few people hated it, when it reset I personally had the time of my live because I needed to reset and build again.. currently on this server I have items, rares, and more that I don't use cause I get bored so much. When mv's skyblock reset I was no longer bored on that server. I had a lot of fun. Please reset @cypriotmrkz
People quitting doesn't equate to having another 650k islands that are inactive. It'd probably take the server 10 more years to reach that amount of inactive islands due to the lack of player base that we currently have right now.
A reset would mean a fresh economy and an incentive to play again. I would also suggest to remove god enchants or give that command a day cooldown. Atm the server is too easy and that makes it boring. Skyblock is supposed to be a challenge and atm with prices of everything being so low its nothing tbh. Not creative but not survival either
Point of this server is automation. Big part of playing minecraft in general is achieving automation. Cheap prices will come back.
It all depends on how much CypriotMerkz and Noobcrew care. Doesn't matter how many discussions threads/suggestions threads there are if the admins don't bother about the server.
Right but afaik 2012/2013 prices were waaay higher.. it took like 4 years for them to get this incredibly low I mean stone and cobble is pretty much free Theres no way for greenies to make money besides skin comps atm imo.
Yeah, just two years ago a dc of stone was worth 2-3 diamonds, now it's worth what a stick? The economy is trash, and no new players that join will have a fair chance at making profit considering that the trades are ran by 2-3 donor trade shops atm.
its already got a death sentence, and if stuff like heads are the big things holding it together then it won't last.
I believe you 2 didn't read all pages. I made a comment saying Cyp would have to introduce 50 of each festive head again as they were infact from holiday drops, i believe they should stay in the server forever.
Funny thing was that prices were dropped in the first place to help new players build because they had no way to earn income. So that problem was already there. Besides, it was rares traders who inflated all the prices for the cool stuff. Just one example: Last year, beacons were about 120 diamonds. Then we all saw their prices inflate to 300 diamonds, and it finally dropped down to around 200 diamonds per beacon currently.
If there is a reset, Stone won't get expensive again. If anything it will get cheaper as it is now. This is because redstone is getting more and more advanced.
I don't think it's a good idea because I spent 2 years trying to get all my dias and if the server resets it would be a waste of time and I would quit
How is redstone getting more and more advanced when we've been stuck in the same version for the past two years? On top of that you can't use hoppers, which makes redstone grinders even more advanced...
Yes. I understand what you're saying, but people are just coming up with new ideas with the redstone we have got. It's not like they have made every single design possible. There are still more efficient designs to be found, with the use of materials that we have got.
