I understand that, but I still only kick for censored words when it's aimed at another player. If they just say a censored word then it isn't harming anyone because the people that don't know the word won't get it, and the people that do get it know the word already so we kick only if it's aimed at another player.

Well, I'm just going to state my thoughts here.
Fgt and Fck and/or Fk are abbreviations. In a joking matter, it's fine, but honestly, it all depends on the person you're saying it to. If this person is a good friend that you know well, and that you know won't take offense from said words, then I'd say it's fine. If it's a person that you don't know well, I would probably advise saying against it. For instance, I'd be fine calling MicahVanderman a fgt (bb :t ), but I wouldn't call CoolCreeper one, because I don't know CC that well (Yet I still say CC). Kicking or muting for these words is an entirely different story. Mainly, this is how I presume a moderator handles kickable words:
    JimmyJohnsIsGod99: ur a fgt mcdonalds
[Mod] Goden: *thinks about how I'd feel if I were called the word*
[Mod] Goden: *Decides that I'd take offense to the word*
[Mod] Goden: *kicks JimmyJohnsIsGod99 for "Language"*
    ^ If only ;t
Anywho, a moderator thinks about how they'd feel if they were called the said word, and if they take it to be offensive to them, they'll kick for it. Now, different moderators have different standards, and Ginger's are quite high, so Pc, technically, Ginger is in the right here. Sorry bruh.

I still think that if someone is just joking with a friend someone else might also find it offensive. So again my opinion is if someone uses that abbreviation and I actually see it, I will kick or mute for it. I don't tolerate things like that.

I don't kick for it if it's used in a "friendly" way (if that makes sense).
If it's used in a derogatory context, then I will be sure to kick for it.

The issue I'm trying to point out, is that even jokingly, calling someone a "fgt" peddles the message that, that is an okay thing to say to someone, and it's not. 20 years ago we could be arguing over the N-word instead, but today, even abbreviated, that would get you kicked instantly. And the same thing should count for any other derogatory word that targets people based on some perceived anomaly.

You can say it jokingly, and your friend can get the joke, but the fact that you're using the word as part of your vocabulary, keeps it alive in the language, and a word like "fgt" or "ngr" or whatever else you can come up with, simply has no place in our language today. It's crude, it's insulting to the minority groups we talk about, and it keeps these words alive.

So where do U draw the line? I eat meat which may & I'm sure does offend the ppl who don't. So should I be kicked for talking about eating a burger? Some ppl don't believe in god so should we kick all the skygods so we don't offend them? I feel to be a moderator a player should have at least some degree of maturity. I was kicked 2 times for saying "hell" when noobcrew has a server with a hell world so should we get rid of hellblock? Where do U draw the line? We can go at this all day.

What I think is hilarious, is that people who aren't gay, and aren't in any way related to the term "f*****" in general, are calling out the word for being "offensive."

Rule of thumb: If no one's offended, it's not offensive. (Not counting you, unless it directly offends you.)

I understand where Ginger is coming from, because of all staff, she actually has a reason to be offended, being gay and all. But in all honesty, when was the last time you saw someone use the word "fag," "f*****," or in this case, "fgt" to insult someone? If we're using a less controversial word, "b****" for example, you wouldn't say it's offensive when someone calls a buddy of theirs "bish." It's the same deal with the word f*****. The word is so overused nowadays, that it no longer offends anyone. (Source: I'm am a gay-dyke/bisexual f*****.)

"Nig" "n****" are allowed on the forums when said to a friend. (Just an example of what should be allowed don't ban me)

I believe it should be a kick if it is used to be offensive. If I am obviously trying to be offensive to someone, then yea, of course I should be kicked. But yesterday I was kicked for telling yoshi something like "come here bb fgt", which is obviously not offending him in any way, nobody said anything about it or was offended, and I've known him for a long time. If you're going to kick for that, why don't you kick for saying gay as well?
This sums it up perfectly. Like she said, if nobody is offended, it's not offensive, and people will certainly let you know if it's offensive. This has become a recent things mods started doing, as before you could say it freely and nobody would care. Not sure why that has developed, but I haven't seen or heard of any rule changes on it, so it really shouldn't have. If this was offensive, you would think it would be added to pwnfilter, and that only takes about 5 seconds to do. And honestly, if you can't handle something as small as 3 letters being used as a joke from friend to friend, not being aimed to offend any one person or group of people, you shouldn't use the internet, because these days it's pretty easily to get offended. In all the time I've played skyblock, NOBODY has EVER told be they were offended by me saying that.
It sort of disturbs me that mods get to chose what they kick for, because some mods use words like this and worse, and some kick for saying lmao. That seems like an issue, because I know very well that there is a strict set of things that should be kicked for.
Yet again, I completely agree that you should be kicked for saying the full word or even the abbreviation if you mean to offend someone, and are not just saying it in a playful manor. But in this case, I feel that it was unacceptable to kick for just playing around.
