Don't support. As if the economy isn't already going down the toilet (diamonds used to be worth 1 stack grass, now 20 grass.) adding more currency blocks will make the economy go so low, it will just implode and not exist anymore. Also, it doesn't matter what you try and put to trade for grass, people like me with God mode or good PvEers or people with mob farms will get loads of items and become rich for close to no work.

The main reason I started this thread was for people to figure out ways to get rid of large quantities of items. It appears that some are opposed to a reverse grass shop. I just have another question then, what should be done about all these items if a grass shop isn't the answer?

I support this. But only for items that are ALREADY traded from villagers. And I agree with Krissy's suggestion of making the prices higher if this does happen. (Ex: since you buy 8 glass for 1 grass, you can sell 16 glass for 1 grass.)

Or maybe (just spitballin) we could allow the trade of items (such as mob drops) for a new type of item once the server is updated to 1.8 (such as diorite, or something). This wouldn't affect the grass economy and the item it is traded for wouldn't have had a value before 1.8 so there is no complaints about the sudden devaluation of an item.

If you have a lot of items you don't want, throw them out or hold a dp.

No support. Itll inflate the economy and the value of grass will plummit. Otherwise we'll have the same problem as with iron. It would be better if there was a greater range of things to buy for grass though. Like items you could buy for a whole stack of grass.

It's not that I dislike the idea - personally, I'd love this. However, it is to my belief that this may mess up the SkyBlock economy in a way. No support, but good luck.

Sorry, but I don't think that this is a good idea. It would screw up the entire grass economy like Vampiric said.
It also would create some more lag which is exactly what we don't need... This would make the rich even richer and the poor would still say behind.

    About your last statement..
This is so the poor get more items. Items like - let's take carrots as an example - are somewhat of an easy to obtain item. Thus, a greenbean could easily farm some and get some grass in order to start off on skyblock. It's the opposite of what you said. xD
Note that carrots are an example, not a serious suggestion, thanks.

No support, this way there will come more grass into the 'community' (it's not what you think what is krissy_punk :t ) there will be too much grass, people can give more grass for diamonds, when people can get more diamonds, the more expencive rares will lower in value... Sorry :(

You guys don't seem to understand that an economy is flexible. It wouldn't screw the economy per se, just change the value of a block of grass. It was suggested to do this to diamonds to make them worth less grass in comparison.
But 'ruining the economy' shouldn't be your one size fits all argument.

Ha, you think logblock works. xD

That's counter productive. By pouring more grass into the system, the value in comparison to diamonds would go up. You're contradicting yourself.

    You guys crack me up.
You don't want grass to be worth a lot, but you don't want grass to be worth a little. Make up your minds already!

    I do support, though <#
I think if we do put things up at a villager that are harder to obtain, such as logs, stone bricks, and etc, it would help nondonors who have no steady income besides voting once a day.

I like this, but wouldn't it be a bit too easy? There should be a way without everyone in skyblock getting rich by selling stuff. Besides, if it happens with things like diamonds, it might just run out for good. 20% support.
