I haven't been able to get a clear answer on this, so if there is a way to do this (aside from keeping mobs blocks apart) please comment the steps below!

I would love the ability to have a pond of fish, or a field of animals on my island on my island that can roam without the issue of stacking, and currently in my experience if you name different types of tropical fish they stack into one.

It would be cool if you could pay x amount of grass to disable mob stacking that may or may not begin to stack when a cap is reached (eg: 40 mobs) so that way grinders can benefit from Sweeping Edge however that isn't the reason of my thread, I'm more interested in having mobs for build purposes.

This poll needs a third option: No, I do not use mobs to decorate my island. However, if mob stacking were adjustable or changed for certain mobs, I absolutely would have huge fish tanks. I'd have a whole aquarium level like Obliv does, but more.

However I know they introduced mob stacking to combat lag so I think it's gonna be a long time before we get it back to where it used to be. I'd like to see it but I don't expect it anytime soon.

I'm not sure if you know this, but salmon and cods don't stack, so you could make do with those(they expensive tho). I've seen people with other animals that didn't stack like chicken, cows and sheeps, although I'm not sure how they managed to do it(naturally spawned I'd guess)... As much as I'd love it, I'm with kittykat on this one. Lag it's pretty big and I'd rather avoid any kind of lag, especially when server has been pretty full these weeks!
