If you think that mods don't have lives you are mistaken. It is truly what you make of it that decides how much of a life. I honestly don't like threads like these because it is one former mods opinion. Not only does this cause concern but also discourages players from applying and helping. I have a life, plain and simple. Do I spend time on Skyblock? Of course, it hasn't gotten boring for over a year now. I have three major activities and responsibilities going on in my life. - I work. I have been working since I turned 14 at the same place. 1 year and 4 months at McDonalds. - I am a Junior EMT. I have many duties as a junior EMT, such as Standbys, Drills, Business Meetings, Work Details, EMS week, etc. On top of that, I will soon be taking 4 months of EMT courses. 4 months, 3 times a week. In fact, this weekend I need to be at the squad around 6 AM then to go travel in an ambulance. After that, I am working at my job. - Lastly, I am a student. I am a sophomore. The work load is very large as I take CP and Honors classes. Before you go rating my post rude or such, please note that this is my opinion. Just like tkjpie can express his, i can express mine. Personally, I don't agree with the thread as you can still have a life as a moderator. Thanks, Bdark.
Resignation should be the way to go. You know you are ready to move on, and others get a chance. If you cannot be an active mod because of life you should gracefully step down. As for me, I wasnt ready to go, I didnt have a choice. I have nothing important to do, no other activities or anything. I could spend over 6 hours on the server a day. I enjoyed everyday as mod. And everyone pretty much thought i resigned .-. And I am a robot, i was a perfect robot mod.
Resign: step down Demoted: fired In our skyblock context. I was going to post another longer post on this but this is simple way to describe it. Therefore stepping down is voluntary in resignations. .-.
