· Punished account name: Calidre · Platform or server punished on: Skyblock · Ban message if applicable: Banned for Malicious Vandalism · Have you read the rules? Yes · Do you think this punishment was incorrect? No · Why should you be unbanned? First, I wanted to state that this appeal is entirely separate from anyone else involved and is my own personal decision to create. I realized I wanted to do another post because I never truly gave any real apology or took actual responsibility for what I did. At the time I just thought it was a silly joke but failed to see why what I did hadn’t accomplish anything and just became an unnecessary mess that needed to be fixed. I wanted to formally apologize for the time I wasted, the mess that came of it, and the people that were tasked with fixing what I did. I wanted to say sorry to the entirety of the staff team for what happened, it was not a smart idea and most likely ruined some people’s day. I’m sorry for wasting time out of your day and if I caused any stress over it, then I’m also very sorry for that. It was not ok that I did what I did, and it should have never happened. I regret what I did, and I would not jeopardize my time here by doing something like that ever again. I was hoping if I’m able to, know who was directly responsible for fixing what I did so I can personally apologize to each one of them. At the time I hadn’t considered the time that had to be spent to fix my decisions and now I’d appreciate if I could possibly be given the chance to apologize to each of you personally. I understand there’s probably now a very limited amount of trust, I hope I could be given another chance, or at least be given a response and a chance to apologize directly to those involved. Thanks, Cal. · Please list any other times you were punished on Skyblock: None since 2014 · If you know, tag the staff member that banned you: Kerahna · Do you understand and accept our rules and code of conduct? Hey Cal, thank you for your appeal. I’ll get right into this! As I was part of the investigation into the map art incident, I will be handling this appeal on behalf of the staff team and Noobcrew. : ) I apologize for the delay in this response, I was awaiting some responses as this situation was discussed with other staff members. Thank you for your patience. As you know, permanent bans are not able to be appealed. However, there have been very specific instances in which permanently banned players are given one final chance if responsibility is taken, the player shows genuine remorse for their actions, they show they want to be involved in the community again, a significant amount of time has passed, among other reasons. This said, I will continue with your appeal. I appreciate the apology, thank you. I just find it difficult to see this incident as a "joke" and not something that was more than then that. I believe you knew what the consequences of hitting the map art limit would be, (eg: breaking maps for the entire server) and yet you went ahead with it. Thank you for acknowledging the time that was wasted in this ordeal, as it was not an easy fix for the developer team. I am saddened that you thought this to be nothing more than a joke, disregarding consequences it would have for other players. As you are a long time player I'm sure you understand that Noobcrew and the staff team do their best to make the server as enjoyable as possible for everyone. When players purposely break parts of the server it isn't something that is taken lightly. Again, I thank you for your apology. However, at this time, we will not be unbanning you. You are welcome to re-appeal in a month's time if you so desire. In the meantime, we would suggest making a better effort at showing your commitment to the community by the use of forums and our discord server. These are the best ways for us to see your improvements and how committed you are to the server. Thank you for your time. I will leave this thread open for a short time so you can respond if you choose to, or if you have any questions. Thank you, - Bree
Thanks for the response, and no need to apologize for the wait time I expected it to take a little longer considering the situation. First off, I wanted to apologize directly to you specifically since you were the one in charge, so again I'm very sorry for the time I wasted and my actions that you had to fix. There is no excuse for what I did and I don't intend on having one. It was wrong and it should not have happened so I am sorry for what you had to deal with. I appreciate your response and I will do my best to show my commitment. Thanks, Cal.
