Promote a third Administrator

    Female admin please.

    Imo we need one. But here is the deal. You need someone who is balanced.
    -someone who can handle staff issues
    -someone who interacts with the community
    -someone mature and fair
    -someone who knows how to use commands on a higher level
    -someone who works hard across all mediums (forums and server)

    I don't see anyone yet who is capable of doing this. Activity wise no one suggested is suitable. Not a lot of people have enough experience to handle it. Smods don't even have creative let alone a person getting op.

    Krissy gender shouldn't matter lool. But i agree with everything else, especially the fact no one here is skilled enough to take on this huge responsibility

    Support, I won't name which SMods, but I think there are definitely some SMods that would fit the role of admin pretty well

    If SLGMichael came back, that'd be cool, he was admin before. He's got experience.

    Personally, I think if this suggestion is denied, it's just selfish that Crew isn't willing to give back to the community by giving us what we want.
    It's a lot of trust that goes into it, but I think Sean is suitable for the position, or RobloxianRoblox since they've been here for years.

    I've made a few threads on this but it doesn't seem likely. Even if the admin had limited perms or something like that. Doing small things like changing prefixes and aiding with any glitches etc. would be useful and aid Cyp in removing trivial things from his workload.

    I mean I get why with what happened with Justin. But then again it was Crew's fault not Justin's.

    Couldn't agree more with that. We really just need a community figure to all look up to imo. Because Cyp and Crew don't really engage with any of us, someone who can fill that role could easily have a huge influence on the community.

    SLG however is not fully up to date on everything that he needs to. If he spent a good half a year dedicated back to the server I would have no trouble thinking he would be perfect.

    Crew is being cautious. I don't blame him.While I am not 100% sure if any admins abused their permissions or not, staff already lost many perms due to the abuse and even super mods lost perms that would have been vital now.

    While being around a long time is a good thing, it is not the be all end all. Trust is not going to always be based on whos been around the longest, though it does have a slight effect. Some people who have been around least amount of time have as much trust or even more than a person who has been around a long time.

    Cyp could very well make a "safe" Admin rank which can have things like world edit (or just creative), rollbacks and pex perms (which all he would need to do is make sure there are no pex ranks which include * (all permissions). Easily done in around 10 min.

    If anything the blame should fall on Justin. His actions were childish at best. You get given the permissions, you are trusted, you don't go and betray that no matter how you feel. Just pure childishness.

    And if that is what Crew wants to avoid then so be it. He found a person who obviously wouldn't act childish in Cyp and when they admins find someone else like that maybe it would be considered.

    From what Justin said Crew owes him a fair bit of money but wont pay him.
    Still for the way this turned out it was handled poorly.

    I will admit his actions were childish. But you can't say Crew was any better in the situation. Being scammed out of promised money for his dedication to bring in new servers and update forums gave Justin the reason to and I can't fault him for it. Still a douche move on both sides though.

    Anyways this thread isn't about Justin. I really don't think any smods here are ready for the position. Admin isn't fun and games here. It's a hard job that needs to be given to someone that knows how to work efficiently and effectively. And the fact we lost about 5 admins, (Luke, Creekz, SLG, Gwism, Justin) makes me believe that the position is a pain in the butt and really needs to be someone dedicated and isn't afraid to act.

    He did a lot of work, and with the income Crew has from his servers, he can afford to pay Justin. I don't think Justin's actions were immature, he was just taking back what's his.

    There are other ways to handle a situation like that. Affecting the experience of the players who did nothing but play and enjoy themselves on a server is wrong to me and makes his actions immature in my books. Whatever happened in the background I have only heard from one side. But neither handled this situation well.

    Which is another thing: would a third admin need to be paid?
