seems like a bit of a hassle to setup (+the already slow fixing on the forums ) without a xenforo addon for it, but hell if it can be done then by all means. would only be helpful.

Eh, I've never had such an issue with someone that I can't just ignore them by not replying. But, all the same, I support this, as some people may have specific issues.
I'm not sure how you could ignore a user though, would you not be able to see any of their threads or posts? That would make the forums confusing - people replying to someone you can't see. I'm not sure if it would even be possible.
