True. I know those stuff. Unfortunately in America (a.k.a. the midwest) is screwed up in terms of education and is mostly filled with uneducated conservatives that dont know these things exist

Age of consent here is 17 and if you're sexually active at that age then it's completely fine as long as you're staying protected. I would understand if you were complaining about kids having sex at 13, 14, 15 because I know multiple cases of kids having a child at that age in my school only to break up with the father. At 17 you're at most only a year until you're considered an adult under the law. A lot of kids that age have a job, a car, and/or are in a relationship, I'm pretty sure most are responsible enough at that point to stay protected. It's not like you get shamed for using a condom, or at least you shouldn't.

considering the fact that throughout history the majority of women got married at the age of 14-16, there is nothing wrong in having sex at such age.

If not then im not gonna lie, I do feel somewhat unlucky to be an American, but at the same lucky because I get to grow up in a place where there is so opportunites.

Besides you do realize that having sex at such a young age is bad for you? Sure all the women had sex in their early teens but ended up dying early in their lives because of health problems associated with teen pregnancy. They also had a good chance that babies died at birth or sometime during their infancy, because of a lack of medicine back then.

My point wasn't trying to cause hate towards you. My point was that majority of Americans are dumb enough to learn the risks. To be frank, you're one of the smarter freshman I'v known, which is a great thing, if you wish to talk more about it pm me
