Wow! How have I never seen this? Thank you for the information.
Wow, this is brilliant.
I’d genuinely have thought that lapis would be a rarer spawn than iron, gold or redstone.
Thank you for this, it is useful!
I may need to run some of my own tests on this, I feel like I've been getting different results lately...
I haven't been keeping track of stone, but most recent mining yielded:
1184 Coal Ore
76 Lapis Ore
50 Gold Ore
46 Iron Ore
28 Redstone Ore
This has been the general trend I've seen lately, where I get absurd amounts of coal, a good bit of lapis, a bit more gold than iron (usually within a little bit of each other), and the smallest amount being redstone, usually by the same margin as lapis is above.
Hard to say without knowing the total block yield.
I still have my test setup, so it might be fun to run another 50k blocks or so through it
Is this on a cobble stone gen or a stone gen
I believe cobblestone, Stan.
Surprised Lz hasn’t beaten you to this one Super_Dave1236.
Any estimate on the amount of stone? Even if an exact amount isn’t able to be given.
Stone gen. Cobblestone gens are a lot slower than stone gens, so people tend to use stone gens for fastest results.
I honestly have no idea. I haven't fully emptied my stone collection chests ever since it was built, so I never know how much is new stone and how much has been there. Sometime soon I'll try emptying it out and then keeping track of things.
