Making copies and giving away copies are 2 separate things. I personally am fine if people make copies of my map art if they want to distribute it on the same island multiple times. (That opinion may change one day). It looks like I'm in the minority, however.

 

I agree, but there should be a rule that's default no copies allowed. I sell some maps that I allow players to copy, but some that I don't. The ones that can be copied can have a sign next to confirming they're copyable ones.

I also agree copying maps on their own isles is okay, but copying to give to others isn't okay. And that's why the rule should be default be no resale or copying without the owners consent

 

And my suggestion doesn’t stop you allowing that in any way but there are players that don’t want their map arts copied and currently they can’t stop that.
