Can't you already do this with obsidian generators

 

The idea is a bit dumb. You can just go to Hellblock for the nether experience. Also if nether portals were enabled griefers could get to your island using your portal.

 

No support. When they had the nether enabled on org I remember everytime I would come out of the nether it would spawn me at some random guys island.

 

But you wouldn't need Redstone with the method I'm thinking of, it just needs the portals.

 

Maybe if you went through a portal and ended up on hellblock, that would be cool. Other than that, no support.

Lava is infinate, infinate nether rack as well as ghast tears etc.

2. 1 block in nether=8 in overworld so border in nether would be like 6 blocks in each direction. Otherwise it would count as bridging.

This has been suggested more times than I remember. It's been denied every time.
It's not happening. May I lock this, since it's not going to happen.

 

People would get quartz easily meaning that people who traded diamonds for quartz wouldn't be able to trade them anymore. You could always go to hellblock. Also, it would be bad for people just setting up there islands if they accidently make obsidian because at the moment you can right click it to make it lava, but that plugin would need to be taken out so you don't set yourself on fire all the time.

When I used to watch paulsoarsjr, he told us that every block you walked in the nether is 4 blocks in the overworld. If this is true then you could easily find someone's coordinates and bridge/walk to the spot where their island is in the nether, create a portal and be in their base.

 

I think he said 16 but it's actually 8

 

Thread locked and archived as it's been denied before. Reason being is it causes a lot of lag and there is no protection, not to mention illegal items like the gravel/flint, and of course using other peoples portals to get to other islands to grief.
