Light sources do not affect mapart
You do not need a fence around the mapart, only on the north side
Even then, if you make the "fence" higher than everything else, it will probably still look incorrect
If you use MapartCraft, it already adds the extra edge blocks for the north side in the correct positions, so that it something you do not have to worry about
