Okay, while yes, it was on my part that I did not listen to the mods and did not stopped using bold messages, I was still told in the beginning that I was allowed to do bold just not every message. So I have only been doing bold to now 0-1 times PER DAY. I remember a couple months ago, in the summer of 2022, people were doing bold, though not being punished for it, in fact, the mods online were okay with it. It is stupid how at this point I can get muted 3 days for accidental racism, which I did not mean, but I get muted for 1 week for doing bold. Not even harmful in any way. I don't see in the rules where bold is bad, if you can show me a physical screenshot of where it is that could help, but has the word BOLD. Please list any other times you were punished on Skyblock: Muted for Bold and Warnings only. If you know, tag the staff member that banned you: I do not know, it happened while i was offline. Hi Circle, thank you for taking the time to appeal and for your patience. Let us get started regarding your mute, first and foremost you were muted for ignoring multiple warnings from a staff member asking you to stop using bold text in chat and yet you continued to do so. I have spoken with one of the staff involved to develop an understanding of the whole situation and they have informed me they did clarify the rules with you after they quoted it can be done every so often. This staff member later asked you several times to stop completely. “CHAT OFFENCES Users should not spam, flood or be rude in chat. You should also not create fake messages as this is against our rules and counts as trolling. Users that are advertising their island must wait 5 minutes in-between advertisements, or it will be considered as spam.” In the screenshot above you stated to visit a players island for 2018 Drop Party heads and a special stone. This is considered trolling and you are attempting to spam this players chat with visits. Friendly or not, we do not condone this. “2. You must use common sense when playing our server.” Although common sense is vague, if a staff member mentions to stop partaking in something and you continue to do so and ignore their requests/warnings, it is inevitable that you will be punished for it. In this instance, I believe it should be common sense to not continue using bold text. Just because other players decide to participate in bypassing this filter it in no way means you should as well. Although it is not specifically mentioned within our rules, I would argue it falls under “ABUSING SERVER EXPLOITS AND BUGS” and under common sense to not bypass a filter. There was plenty of chances given to you to stop and you decided not to, on your previous mute I even mentioned that hopefully you reconsider what you send in public chat. This mute will expire in 6 days.
