Now that offline votes don't count toward vote parties, a consequence of this is that players who are online on /skyblock and vote don't contribute to /economy's vote party counter (and vice versa), effectively halving the number of vote parties that occur.

So I suggest either

• significantly lowering the threshold for vote parties
• Have votes for players online economy or survival count toward vote parties for both servers
• have votes from vote4 no longer contribute to vote parties (and reduce vp to 80 votes), but still give keys upon voting, and be required for the monthly gift card

 

Yes the new requirement is ridiculous we are now having next to no vote parties at all

Agreed. Vote parties appear almost nonexistent now. The entire server has been punished for the actions of one or two trolls.

Edit: I voted when I left for work this morning at 9am. It is now 6pm and I am only holding the 4 keys I got from voting. That's 9 hours with zero vote parties.

you are right to some degree but, i have been noticing less vote parties so,

 

For me, and a number of others I assume, fun comes from building unique custom redstone devices to carry out the mundane tasks. Typically, these devices are made to generate wealth automatically while AFK.
I certainly don’t AFK statically in the middle of my farm. I’m utilising those redstone builds that I enjoyed making, breaking, troubleshooting, remaking, perfecting etc. etc.
A lot of us are very secretive about the designs we make and so the income we make is an indication of how well they work.

We all play different, we all have different goals.

On the subject of vote parties, I don’t care too much about them because the income gained from them is a very small percentage of the total.
But I get that new players gain a substantial boost from them.

Perhaps, the vote count can return to how it was but put a maximum number of vote parties any one player gains rewards for. Or a minimum time between vote parties regardless of the vote count. I.e./vp reports something like:
“Vote party in 55 mins, votes required:25”
“Vote party in 55 mins, votes required: 0”
Or if the time has elapsed simply:
“Vote party in 25 votes”

 

I am unhappy with the decrease in vote parties with these changes.

 

In the past 22 hours of constant afking, I have received 9 keys. 4 of those were from voting.

2 vote parties in 22 hours somehow feels worse than taking them away altogether.

 

Same here, 24 hours of afking and got 7 keys, 4 of which were from my own voting :-D just remove VP's all together or put it back the way it always was!! very infuriating and frustrating

 

yea its not 80 votes anymore he added another vote site so we have to reach 100 votes now

 

before the 1.19.2 update it was 120 lol so tech thats the way it was before so he was nice enough to give us 100

 

I believe you have missed that it's now only online votes, and economy and survival are being counted separately, resulting in Vote parties have dropped to near nonexistence. They are now only 1 or 2 per day on eco. This is not the way it was before the update.

Neutral. In general I think we should keep vote parties special. Due to AFKing the amount of vote keys has increased a lot and therefore the value decreases. People stay afk and collect a lot of keys. Its just less rewarding for afk people and making voting all votes more valuable imo. I think that is fair.

 

Only 3 of my votes ever go through and they no longer cover a 24 hour period.

 

Update: there has been only 1 vote party in the last 12 hours on economy
How does this help anyone? Where’s the incentive now to vote? Voting is now just a waste of time.
New players are really going to suffer with this

 

No they are not at all

 

It feels like the entire server is being punished for the actions of a few abusing the 4th voter link. I had no idea people were doing it, it happened when I was at work, I didn't even know it had happened at all until long afterwards. And yet, now I'm being punished for it via removal of vote parties. It feels very unfair.
