It's not the way they say it that's harsh. It's the way you interpret it

Another maturity issue. The harsh ratings may seem rude, but everything comes with a reason. Just because the person whi gave the rating, didn't tell everyone their exact reasoning, doesn't mean the rating isn't well deserved. True, in cases where they aren't deserved, people may still rate things rudely. And cussing. As far as I'm concerned Sala, doesn't just "cuss" I don't know her too well, but I know her well enough, and she used to be a mod. Under, the age of 13. And if you are mature enough saying the word "dammit" isn't gonna change the world, it's just a 'damn' word.

"Dammit" (if you mean that) is not always counted as a cuss. The way I've been taught, it's always been fine, so I don't see that as a cuss. Apart from that which is a debatable issue, I only cuss when I demonstrate/reference a friend, and that's only via /msg, skype, kik or conversation on forums, with only close friends.

Neither have I rated anything a "harsh rating" here, unless I clicked wrong while scrolling on my phone.

How about we all stop fighting about the whole disrespect thing as it's uncalled for because this is not a thread for this, it's discussion about this suggestion and we should not derail the original purpose, even though this is slightly related.

Age doesn't MATTER. Some people could be like 8 and could be as good a mod as a 14 year old. It would be unfair to practically only teenagers get moderator status and the younger ones always said no to because of an age limit. There is no reason for an age filter because the younger players, (if this passed) would have to wait some time for an app to get accepted because of a filter. No support. kthnxbai

Age plays a huge factor, there have been 9 year old Moderators, and there have been 30+ year old Moderators. Of course it's general knowledge that a Moderator who is 13+ years old will do the job better on paper, this is not true. I have seen servers only 'employ' players that are over 16 years old. This is not fair seeing as most 16+ year old players have a job+school/other commitments which chunk a large amount of time.

However, on the bases of being mature age provides a greater factor; but on that subject an 11 year old may be more mature than a 16 year old. Every human is different, when I was 16 I was very immature, I still am. But, I'm mature when I need to be. That's the difference.

However, spelling/grammar is slightly important, so if you're 11 and have amazing spelling and grammar then your chances will be higher than a 16 year old with poor spelling/grammar. At the end of the day it falls down to the individual and not the age. (but age is still important, however it doesn't matter on Skyblock; as we treat everyone with the same amount of respect).
