I quite like the 'clunkiness' of Skyblock Gems, for what it's worth. I feel like you'd be likely to find 'skygems' used on other skyblock servers, whereas the use of Skyblock Gems to me emphasises the Skyblock brand.

Maybe 'SB Gems' could be a compromise?

 

You'd find Skyblock Gems on other servers too. It's what Hypixel calls their paid skyblock currency.

 

Could just call them Arena Tokens or something

 

I actually like this because it reinforces the originality of Skyblock with just a few letter changes.
However SkyGems has a rhythm to it, its smooth.

 

hello just wanted to bring up something i remembered from the beta testing not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, below the mob arena island you had to be really careful to get there and not fall into the void but there was an npc with a glitchy skin and question mark as its name (i think?) and when you'd click on him you would earn a special role, i dont remember the role name unfortunately but if anyone remembers when we did the beta testing i may be able to check some of my chat logs and see if i can find anything

 

it wont let me edit the message but i found this screenshot and turns out it gives u a secret class not special role

 

some 8 year old is gonna have nightmares because of this

I hope we will still be able to buy our own player heads with the skyblock gems, just how we could at the beta test!

 

Please don’t make the prizes normal items and rare items, stick to heads and cosmetics, the Alting Andy’s are already drooling about farming gems, and just straight up sinking the economy of any item you add to the gem exchange.

 

Wouldn’t it be significantly harder to alt Mob Arena due to the fact you’d need to be actively defending each account?
