With the Halloween Drop party 'coming soon', some heads are likely to be sold for more than the 10m limit. Because you can't /shops find a head, it would be cool if the auctionhouse was available for items this unique and expensive.

A $20M max price seems like a good new maximum.

At the risk of further inflating some of the ridiculous prices people list things at... agree. There are rares that cost way more than 10mil and nowhere decent to buy or sell them.

Support. /ah is typically a great place to sell rares, but the arbitrary limit of 10 million (a relatively small number when it comes to rares on the server) makes it really limiting.

I feel like rares are underpriced sometimes, other times they are over priced, but i think it'd be somewhat nice to be able to sell for more.

Probably because it's not very productive to have $100m items floating around on /ah when only like 10 people are able to afford it.

Because people post things like single sticks for 10m. The limit is there to reduce the spam items imo. Now imagine there's a trading discord channel specifically set up for trades such as that lol..

There’s functionally no difference between a stick listed at 10m and a stick listed at 20m. They’re both spam.

Apart from the fact people accidentally click on listing and buy them. Eg if so.eone buys an ah listing whilst someone else is about to, and they end up cliking the wrong ad, leading to buying unwanted /over priced spam items.
The discord channel is there for trades such as drop heads or more valuable items. On the trade channel they can be regulated and monitored to avoid any such spam and also can maintain a fair trading environment. Allowing /ah listing to start climbing above 10m, will definitely encourage more spam items like sticks ar 20m.

If the /ah was better regulated for spam trades or scams then sure maybe I'd personally be more willing to allow higher trade amounts. But 20m is too much for our current situation. Those are my own opinions, take or leave them idc

Spam and scam listings such as sticks for 10mil are already disallowed, and staff do remove the listings where necessary.

Also, there is a purchase confirmation screen to allow players to double check what they are purchasing, so "buyer beware" is very much in effect.

I would support a "recently purchased" menu similar to the "recently sold" menu to help catch scammers after the fact. For example the time someone sold a crophopper for 675,000 and once it was purchased it was too late to see who had sold the item.

In my opinion "some people scam" is not a good enough reason for staff to deny this simple and useful suggestion.

I see no reason not to increase the limit. At 10mill or 20 mill people will still spam items. Even if you went the other way to a reduction to 5 mill people will still do it.

You get an are you sure gui for items you are about to purchase so if you buy a stick for 10mill with an are you sure prompt that’s on the player.

    Be more careful.

    All for the increase. Support.

One thing i do not like is when cobble/sticks/common cheap items are spammed in /ah and priced for millions or very unreasonable amounts. This my only reason i do not want the /ah max price to go up.

as with what obliv said, there will always be /ah spam and staff DO take them down when they see them. there is no other reasoning for the /ah max price not to go up

The main reason this happens is a rich player leaving and buys out the /ah so players spam cheap items for 10mill to get quick easy money.

if a lot are left then staff will remove them from /ah.

It's not right. It's already against the rules. Scamming, spamming, listing sticks for 10mil, are all already against the rules. Staff will remove them if they're reported.

Which means it's not, in my opinion, any kind of argument against raising the price cap. If someone lists a stick for 2omil, just tell staff about it.

whenever i see that kind of stuff in /ah it makes me angry but luckily staff deals with it. I do not think its funny when ppl do that and i wish the players that do that would understand that what theyre doing isnt right.

Raised the maximum list price from $10M to $20M now in the SkyAuction (/ah). Thanks for the suggestion!
