First off, before I get nit-picky, I must say this is a very well-written application. As far as the application itself, you only need to make a few adjustments. But first I will judge based on what I know of you:

Overall you are an active player. You are active both on forums and in-game. You are helpful here on forums, I just feel like you could be a little more helpful on the server itself. Other than that, I support you for this part.

Before I get into details, the first thing I want to suggest is that you reformat your application. There aren't spelling errors, or anything wrong with what you said, I just believe that you can make it look more attractive. I would suggest making the words in bold a bit bigger, and maybe even make them a comfortable color to look at. Now I will get into more detail:

Nice introduction, I see nothing wrong with it.

Now I would like to suggest considering this from the point of view of the one reading your mod app. I feel like you may have a bit too much story, the question did ask why you think you should become mod. Having a little short backstory is one thing, but the story doesn't answer the question. Maybe shorten the story up a bit if you can, or just don't include it.

I don't see anything wrong here. Again, I would suggest maybe shortening your stories a little more, I will explain more on that later.

For the most part good, except for a small part. The question asked for your past experience as moderator. It's good that you mentioned that, however adding in the builder part isn't necessary. Other than that, it's good.





So overall, your mod application is good. There are just a few tweaks and revisions you should make. As I was saying earlier, you want to put yourself in the shoes of the person hiring you. You get a stack of papers with applications. The very first thing you will notice is the aesthetics. The first judgement on something like this is how it looks. Ask yourself these questions:

• Is the application well written with proper spelling?

As someone looking to hire, one thing you will look at is whether or not the applicant had proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. (You don't have this issue) Consider you pick up a paper with bad spelling, grammar errors, and bad punctuation. Would you want to read it? Would you even consider hiring someone with those problems?

• How long is it?

This should be an obvious one. I spoke on this some in one of my last discussions. It regarded people not reading threads all the way through before replying. As one of the commenters of my thread said, it depends on whether the thread is easy to look at. How much white space is there? Is there contrast? Are there larger letters that define the specific categories and sections you are looking for? Are there easy, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing colors? Or is it just all black? When you review applications thoroughly, you will start realizing how important the looks of the application are.

• Is it formatted to where it is easy to read?

Again with the aesthetics of the application. Indented sentences, and bullet points make a big difference. Consider the formatting of the application. Any employer is going to want an application that is easy to read, otherwise it's like reading a boring school text book. You want to make yourself pop out.

• Does this individual really pop out?

As I said, you want to make yourself pop out. What makes you different from all the other applicants? What qualities do you have that maybe they don't? So many applications on here are redundant in using the exact same qualities over and over again. The most common one being mature. Ok, we get it, you are mature, but that's what everyone else is claiming about themselves as well. Can you imagine how many applications cyp has read that have the quality mature in it? Consider putting in other unique qualities, such as ones that aren't often mentioned, or haven't been mentioned before. Make yourself stand out. If you are going through papers, and you read applications over and over that say the same qualities, but maybe one of them reads a different quality that is rarely if ever mentioned, what application would stand out to you the most? Consider your words, and choose them precisely. The more attractive you make your application, the more likely you are to get considered for the job. Cyp judges partially off of ratings, and mostly off of the application itself. So keep this in mind.


That ends my suggestions. Overall you have a good application, but I suggest you consider my suggestions. All in all, my rating is support. But what you need is Cyp's support. Good luck.

 

First of all thanks for the long review and feedback. Anyways as to make my application more "attractive" I made it all centered lined as I made the questions from font 4 to 5 more bigger. I tried to use this "Stylish text generator" but didn't work out at the end as I couldn't find a suitable one and it expires/disappears after an hour from using it. About my "story" I've summed the 2 paragraphs into 1 and I added another paragraph on how I am unique or how I am different than the others.

So again, the 2 paragraph "story" was summed up into one which is good and added another paragraph on explaining on how I am unique/different. As I have removed my experience as a builder since it only asks as a moderator as you asked me to, too.

To me it is well written as I took on pieces of advice from many people's feedback/criticism. I may not wrote it so well written but to me its well written. And just to add up english is my second language so if you wonder why my english is quite weaker you can say its because of that. my first language is arabic And I would not hire a person with these problems.

My application was quite spaced you can say. So I decided to space it more and made the questions bigger and easier to read for people. I only use black to write but Dark Gray would be nice for the text if you want so as I don't really know what color to add with the black text. As I find my application near perfect in my point of view

I didn't really much understand this paragraph. Do you mean I have either to use bullets or use indented sentences to make it more tightly?

I added a paragraph on adding how I am different from the other applicants as I didn't think what "different" qualities to add. I believe I don't have "mature" in my quality lists. And again I tried to make it attractive by making it centered line, bigger questions and I am not sure if I will make the text dark gray while the questions bold black colored.

Nope fantastic everytime I see you maybe just with reporting people on forums when mods aren't on is something you could improve on

 

I mostly report people when no one is able to report or dont want to. Like cyk and iballisticbunny report so I dont need to make another report on the same player with the same proof, only when theres none of them I will gather evidence and report.
