By your logic a Helper tag and mod permissions on a video game mean nothing, so why are you even applying.

I cant vote due to my lack of post but I think you would be a good classic mod because I have seen you on classic as my first impression of you and you seem to be fit for the job, also we dont have a mod that plays much classic which would be nice. you obviously wont get the position because of the non supports but I wanted to voice my opinion.

 

I have withdrawn my support from this application. I met with him many weeks prior to this skin situation. During this time I got to speak with him in a VC and as I do believe he is usually a rule-following kind player this has come out of left field for me and I can't support this player anymore.

 

I used a Donald Trump skin too, Trump is offensive to a lot of people too, but that's okay, and hitler is not?

It wasn't supposed to be a joke, I was looking for a new skin and thought oh, this could be a good one. Because its a skin. In a video game. Shouldn't matter. It was made for players to use. Why else would a skin have been made?

 

When did anyone say your Trump skin was okay. Also, last time I checked, Trump did not start a world war.

Using what I have previously told you in chat, just because something exists does not mean it is okay. That is just like saying "Oh, I shot them because guns are made for people to use". Do some thinking here man, it's not allowed in the skyblock rules.

I do help a lot though, I don't see you very often which is probably why you don't see me. Again the skin wasn't a joke, it was a skin I was planning on using until people got all pressed over a skin in a video game.

I was making a point, crazy how you cut off the whole conversation, and only kept that in. There was more to that conversation and you know it.

No support. I was really going to give you a neutral rating but after seeing your responses, good luck trying to a support rating from me LOL. Your responses here already tell me you are not even ready to be a moderator, Being a helper (and eventually moderator) requires you to work with people from all backgrounds and to be open and accepting. You clearly don't seem open nor accepting. Your recent post literally brought in politics which is something you have to avoid as much as possible. More so please go read a history book before making the same mistake like you did.

I’m going to have to go with no support reading your application I had thought you sounded like a great choice but after reading the comments and your application one of the things you said is not true for this situation you do seem to be toxic about things that have been discussed in the comments and have said some ignorant things when you could have just been polite about it and apologized and tried to work on what had been done but you took on defensive and saying it is not your fault at all but it is fully on you the 2 people you have mentioned are totally different situations and saying what they have done is basically the same is willful ignorance.

moving on from this to be a helper or a mod you have to be accepting of all race and faith/religion and you don’t seem to be and it is sad to me because at the start you really did look like a promising person for staff and if things were different I would probably have been neutral/support but hopefully you can work on things that you have done and try again

This thread is getting a little heated. The user shouldn't have had the skin, and if that causes your viewpoint on their application to change, that is alright. People are allowed to feel uncomfortable with something you have done, even if it was for a short period of time. Calling others dumb is not going to make people feel better after seeing you with that skin. Please keep replies informative, respectful, and calm. This goes for all users who have interacted with this application or are planning to.
