This happened around 8:00pm EST. I was tree farming and a creeper snuck on on me and killed me. I come back and i have a mini map with waypoints so i knew exactly where my death was but when i got there maybe 10 seconds later my stuff was no where to be seen. I looked around for another minute just to be sure but then clag ran so i gave up. I had my best tools on me and all my redstone comonents.

 

Were you near the void, lava or cactus?

If not, can you name the valuable items you had and I will be in-game?

 

i was not. I was actually in the middle of a tree farm.
I had:
diamond pickaxe with efficiency 5, unbreaking 3, and silk touch
diamond axe with efficiency 5 and unbreaking 3
diamond shovel with efficiency 4 and unbreaking 3
2 stacks of redstone
and a bunch more but thats the stuff that would be most difficult for me to recover.

I had taken all of yesterday and today to try and restore my resources to what they were originally so at this point i don't really need much.
