That's exactly right, you can't, just as you cannot prove that someone else didn't type /nick off in that time. This is the whole point, you cannot prove that i did it! Dirty, I can't make it anymore clear, I didn't do it. A sorry would be meaningless.
Dirty, I admitted using iLemonz nick in my very first ban appeal where this all started! I maintain that I don't believe this to be /nick abuse. If that is the admission you wanted, you had it 29 hours ago!
Crakrjack I am just going to step in here, as I have in another thread regarding this and mainly just stay that based upon the evidence that was given at the time and by the reporting player, Ninja was correct in handling it with the action he did. Ninja's main issue is that he just wants you to realize that based on his evidence it shows you abusing, or rather using the same nick as another player, which falls into the category of abusing. With no mod truly being there to see this in person, we can only go off of the evidence and as such act according to that. You just have to realize what was done and atone for it. That will solve all of this. Nick abuse is using another players nick, whether it was for malicious intent, or just to have fun, it is still abusing your commands at the expense of another player and as such is handled accordingly. While I don't believe you using his nick was to incur him harm, it was still being used by you, which caused him to report it.
Cheers Kato, i think you got this in just after my last post where i mentioned that i admitted to using someone elses nickname in my original ban appeal, the ban, I believe, came because Dirty thought I was promoting spam upon this player, which I simply did not.
As I just stated, whether you were doing this for a malicious, or other wise inappropriate way isn't truly the context here. It is mainly that based on the evidence you were using his nick, which justifies nick abuse, thus you being banned because of it was correct. Just incur that punishment and realize what you did and this can be over with. I am mainly here to just bring a swift conclusion to this, so all parties can go on their way.
Kato, thanks for your input, its much appreciated, I did admit to using the /nick in my first appeal, and Ninja, I can promise you I have no intention of using someone elses /nick in the future, I was un-aware this consitute nick abuse, I know the rules are somewhat unclear but it is not practical for mods and dev to make them entirely clear. I know where you stand on it now so have no intention of doing it. My main hope here is that you believe also that I didn't promote spam, I really think this to be a stupid act and an obvious breach of the rules and for that reason I denied it so strongly! I guess like yourself, I am strong willed and that's not really a bad thing.
