    So the community is doing something wrong in being too good? I'm sorry. the communiy is good, but it isn't that good. If you have trouble leaving, then that's your problem.

    I'm not going to apologize for it, I type a lot. XD The only way I can explain my opinions is through ridiculous amounts of words... so here's my take on it...

    TLDR;
    Addiction sucks. Those who are addicted, should seek help and not blame the server as that's only going to make it harder on them. Some people are just making bad choices and then being overly dramatic about it.
    The server is probably no different then others, asking a few people on other servers is inconclusive. Requested bans are probably just a trend, if they really only happen frequently here.

    Your questions have been answered by around 5 different people saying the exact same things yet you keep arguing against it so why are we trying to answer a question you already have figured out in your mind.

    Short form:
    • Requested bans are more of a trend. People here use them to remove themselves for personal reasons. Other servers may not be so close to the staff members, and may not think about quitting, may not wish come back because they dont like the server etc.
    • The server is not held responsible for anyones issues with disconnecting from it because that is ones personal choice to use if for entertainment.
    • the server is not the problem. The server is not conscious It has no will. Its a bunch of coding, plugins. It cannot possibly make people stay without them wanting to. The server is not chaining us up.
    • people are the problem. It doesnt matter how many people have the same issue, its not the server, it will always be the person. Why is it the person? because the person, unlike the server has the freewill, a conscience, can move, feel, think.
    • It is all the fault of you and you alone.
    Im unwatching this thread, there is better things to do than try and inform those who have made up their mind.

    I've had IRL issues for a couple of months now. Sure, I've had what I believe to be my more than fair share of people acting rather rudely to me, calling me a nazi and whatnot. It's only made me think about leaving to sort my IRL issues out first. But then, you try to leave. The issue is you get roped back in. I know minecraft's a video game. As for requesting bans, I've had a few strong thoughts about one recently. Sometimes, you just wanna get your money back from the server, pack up your bags and leave. My thoughts are this because on the whole we are a great, welcoming, friendly bunch of people. Skyblock becomes your second home. And the only way to leave the home (it depends on your willpower to leave) is to request a ban.

    I feel this should be pointed out, I play little for the game and more for the people. The amount of amazing people I've met through this damn server is incredible.
