Stel, please stop rating everyone negatively. It's not helping your cause, not to mention it's nullifying the discussion I'm trying to have. This thread is devolving into a flame war, so please everyone just refrain from insulting people and if you have no more thoughtful discussion, just wait until more posts roll in, as I'm sure they will.
Ok the screenshot doesn't really prove anything, for all you know he could've just been winding you up. Until I see that it contains dox's, I'm not gonna believe that and I think it's kinda silly that you did believe it in the first place but never mind, I'm just brushing that off Also, you're not really one to call other people out on blackmailing are you, I don't even need quotes from other people lol Anyway, I'm out, my microwave popcorn's ready.
Lol all the crap i've heard and had people complain to me about. Neither are innocent. I've heard about multiple uses of both holding things over other peoples heads to try to get what they want. And its been a while since ive brought the age card into anything, lmfao
So, in other words... he was provoking her? Cool, cool, glad to hear it. Tell me how these threads contribute to the forums any more than this one: i finnaly bought my first silked spawner ._. | Skyblock Forums Thanks | Skyblock Forums Number of trophy points for various forum titles | Skyblock Forums Keep in mind I'm not insulting the creators of these threads, as they are welcome on the forums, but just as they are, this one is, as well.
And where is the line? Google defines 'provocative' as anything causing annoyance, anger, or etc, especially deliberately. Now, tell me where the line lies. Because the way I see it, and the way the dictionary sees it, banter IS provocative.
Never trust google But on a serious note I honestly don't think he meant any harm because go on the server and you'll see it in a lot of places, it's not like it's unknown. Also, Long story short a bit of banter isn't supposed to create rage or anger, just a laugh. If you want to split hairs even more, just google banter.
From what I've gathered from this thread, she is banned because people allowed her to get underneath their skin. People get upset too easily, and if the things a teenage girl is saying over minecraft gets you butthurt I don't even want to know how you handle anywhere else on the internet.
That goes both ways. Stel overreacted just as much as FindMe did. Evidently, both provoked and were provoked at one point. The difference is that because Stel didn't take any screenshots besides the (incriminating) ones provided, the only ones available are the multitude of (some far fetched) screenshots provided by FindMe and other people who have joined against Stel. It's unfortunate that I wasn't here to witness things myself, but I do believe that just in general, FindMe is at as much fault as Stel.
Because those threads aren't for the sole purpose of discussing bans or witch-hunting. This thread has become toxic and does not aptly represent our community.
Actually, I think this thread represents our community pretty well, considering this is a thread that allows people to post their thoughts. I didn't see anywhere that we couldn't discuss bans, and regardless, this is also discussion about the moderators and FindMe's involvement. I can't have this discussion anywhere since the reports/ban appeals section is off limits now. There's that word again, "toxic." What does that mean, do you even know? If you don't want to be affected, don't post. It's really simply, actually. It's not like this thread is a virus spreading to the entire forums. It is but a single thread being contributed to by the people who choose to do so. Many people have left thus far after depositing their opinions. Anyone else who thinks this is "toxic" can do the same if they so please.
To quote you: It's showing off how many petty arguments can happen. If you want to discuss moderators, then discuss moderators in a new thread about moderators without discussing who did what, when and where and to whom regarding the Stel situation.
I thought everything had the right to be discussed fairly? Lmao Both parties are at fault and both have been quite immature in this matter.
Yeah. It was, partially. And it stopped. Cool cool. And the Stel situation is relevant, I don't see why you're so adamant to discount it.
So wrap it up. Stel is still around and you're giving her what she wants. It is no longer relevant to discuss it. By all means, talk about the way moderators have handled it. "I think it's bad that moderators can be controlled by one single player. They should really be less biased." would be a good start.
So this not being relevant means that opinions are no longer relevant, so "I think it's bad that moderators can be controlled by one single player. They should really be less biased." would be a good start." should not be taken in a relevant light. kk
