This is not a Skyblock Official Guide but a player's perspective on how to deal with issues like this!

    IMPORTANT LINKS:
    DEALING WITH A RULE BREAKER IN-GAME (SKYBLOCK/ECONOMY/CLASSIC)

    - If you're dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking rules in global/local/co-op chat which includes but is not limited to spam, filter bypass, homophobic/discriminatory/racist comments, inappropriate/NSFW comments, malicious links, blackmail threats, DoX/DDos threats or harassment, you should do as follow.

    1. Please screenshot everything! This is an efficient way to show proof. Do not in any way crop these images. Cropped/edited screenshots are not considered evidence with the risk of false reporting/forgery.
    2. /ignore the player if they are continuously spamming or ruining the Skyblock environment. It's best to capture efficient evidence before ignoring to provide proof of the incident and a staff member can act accordingly as per the severity.
    3. Ping a staff member role or specific staff member if listed online to help you. Keep screenshots saved and send them to a staff member via direct messages for them to know about the incident and act accordingly.
    4. Be patient at all times, do not expect a staff member to quickly reply. In this scenario, please create a report using the Reporting a Player hyperlink.
    5. Be discreet, do not publicly announce you reporting. It is not something to necessarily be shared. Keep it between yourself and staff.
    - If you're dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking rules by creation which includes but is not limited to inappropriate buildings, machines that cause excessive lag, duplicatory machines or anything that may be disturbing the playing of other members, you should do as follow.
    1. Please screenshot and/or video record everything created. Video recording can show how the machine is working and show what it may do to potentially ruin the server for others.
    2. Please mark down the IGN (minecraft username/in-game name) of where this build is located.
    3. Ping a staff member or specific staff member if listed online to help you. Keep screenshots saved and send them to a staff member via direct messages. To prevent any flame/arguments, do not leak the name of where this build is created.
    4. Be patient at all times, do not expect a staff member to quickly reply. In this scenario, please create a report using the Reporting a Player hyperlink.
    5. Be discreet, do not publicly announce you reporting. It is not something to necessarily be shared. Keep it between yourself and staff.
    - If you're dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking rules by course of action which includes but is not limited to player killing, island farming, scamming, looting, griefing or abuse of server bugs/exploits, you should do as follow.
    1. Please screenshot and/or video record everything created. Video recording can show how the machine is working and show what it may do to potentially ruin the server for others. Video recording also shows any griefing, live looting, potential scamming or the act of duplication/abuse of server exploits.
    2. Create a report or ping a staff role/member on the discord to come and assist you.
    3. Be patient with your report and do not rush staff. They’ll definitely get to the bottom of your situation and help you out as much as they can.
    4. Be discreet, main rule. If anyone attempts to trade with a scammer you encountered, let them know in DMs or privately in any way.
    - If you’re dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking rules by appearance which includes but is not limited to inappropriate IGN (minecraft username/in-game name), inappropriate nickname or inappropriate skin (racial and/or not appropriate for the server), you should do as follow.
    1. Please screenshot the player’s skin, the IGN and/or the nickname.
    2. If there’s an inappropriate nickname, please do /realname (nickname) and screenshot the provided details.
    3. Create a report or ping a staff role/staff member who’s listed online to help you out.
    4. Be discreet, try not to flame the player at all. It’s great to let them know to change their nick but don’t let them know anything about reporting as they may get angered and start to be rude to you.
    - If you’re dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking rules by using movement hacks which includes but is not limited to fly hacks, speed hacks or boat hacks, you should do as follow.
    • Do /pi (username) to see if they have Fly Mode Available. If so, they are allowed to use movement hacks.
    • If not, please screenshot that. Along with that please take photo/video evidence that can show illegal movement hacks in place.
    • Ping a moderator or specific mod that can help you out. Usually illegal use of movement hacks result in a short to long ban.
    • If a mod or other staff cannot come or have replied, please create a report including the video/photo evidence.
    • Be patient and wait to see if a staff comes on and let them view your report and have them close this case.
If there are any types of rules I haven’t discussed, please remember gathering evidence (recordings/screenshots), let staff know via ping or report and always stay discreet, the report is not a news to be shared.

DEALING WITH A RULE BREAKER ON FORUMS (THREADS, PROFILES, POSTS)

    - It’s pretty easy to make reports on Forums. If you find someone who is breaking rules by chat (spam, filter bypass, swearing, disrespect, harassment, trolling, thread derail (misleading a thread from its original topic), advertisement, DoXxing, threats, gravedigging (replying to threads that haven’t been touched in over 6 months) or not using common sense), please do as follow.

    1. Report the post by hitting the report button.
    2. Add the rule they broke in the reason of report section.
    3. Submit your report and wait.
    4. You will receive an alert most likely when your report has been resolved.
    - If you’re dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking rules by course of action which includes but is not limited to abuse of ratings, post farming, alternate accounts or has an inappropriate forums name/avatar, you should do as follow.
    1. If this is a profile related concern, please click their profile and report it, indicating what rule is broken and submit it.
    2. If this is a post farming concern, report 1 post and indicate post farming when asked. Post farming is the course of action of posting on threads for the intention of a high post count which is not allowed. It can be a “support” only message on a staff application or a suggestion. Off-topic section doesn’t count as post count is disabled there.
    3. If this is an abuse of rating concern, either report the user’s profile giving the reason of rate abuse and submit or report a post that they liked within a short span of time and is related to the rate abuse and indicate the reason (e.g. rating given to this post was by a rate abuser, more ratings given below/on another thread/profile).
    4. Be patient here as well and definitely do not tell anyone as this can start arguments/rumours being spread or misinformation.
If I have not stated a type of rule here, simply report the post/member’s profile and give a reason of why the report along with the rule broken.

DEALING WITH A RULE BREAKER ON DISCORD (SB DISCORD)

    - If you’re dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking chat rules (spam, filter bypass, excessive swearing, disrespect, harassment, trolling, advertisement, DoXxing, threats, inappropriate/NSFW content, discrimination, homophobia or not using simple common sense), you should do as follow.

    1. Dyno Bot has filters and should automatically delete messages that break rules and/or mutes the member but in the scenario the bot doesn’t, copy the message link and DM a staff.
    2. It’s pretty simple, a staff will delete the message if considered breaking the rules and mute/warn/kick/ban the member.
    - If you’re dealing with a rule breaker who is breaking rules by course of action which includes but is not limited to inappropriate nicknames/discord names, inappropriate avatars, inappropriate statuses, advertising statuses or malicious links (IP loggers, viruses, adult material links) as statuses, you should do as follow.
    • Click the name of the member and copy their real discord name and tag (if nicked).
    • Send it to a a staff member and explain the situation.
    • If you receive a DM advertisement (usually done by other server trolls), take a full screenshot of the message. Click their name and view mutual servers. If Skyblock is listed, please screenshot that and send both screenshots to a staff.
If I haven’t listed a specific rule on how to solve them, just simply capture evidence needed or grab the message link and send it to a staff.

    EXTRA INFORMATION:
    • Don’t be afraid to report. Your report can help the server by stopping a rule breaker.
    • You should report anyone you see breaking rules, even if it includes your friend. Being bias isn’t going to help but it makes matters worse.
    • Please reply to this thread if you liked it out or have any concerns.
    • Use Gyazo, Bandicam, OBS or another photo/video screen capture software to help you collect evidence.
    • I want to thank every staff member for always helping us and making the server a safer place.
Please note you do not need to exactly follow this thread. This is not an official server thread.
