I enjoy hearing your criticism about the economic factors that contribute to Skyblock, but there are more than just economic factors. One such reason includes the new ban manager system. There were several permbans due to the lack of a central set of rules that moderators all should follow, which caused Cyp to implement the new guidelines for rules. Temporary bans mean people have more chances, making the server have more players and a likewise greater opportunity at succeeding. However, this allows for people that are repeat offenders to receive a permanent ban as stated here: Additionally, there are a decent amount of toxic players on this server. People that cause drama in a community where kids are are generally not favored by many. These people can cause unnecessary drama and lead to more players leaving the server. After all, who wants to stay on a server where you aren't welcomed?
Let's say you open up a shop in real life. One will, of course, care about a lot of rude people arguing and shouting around right in front of your shop. To represent the 'children' which take this even worse , I'll say in this example that the shouting people are violent and use brutality and hurt each other. This is a very unpleasant location in a shop and it is understandable that people will leave. I agree. But like I said in the thread, there are many many issues. Horrible ones. Ones that make for a bad experience. But if you, in the shop, get no sales and no one ever visits your shop you will WAY more likely close the shop than if there are bad people outside. So what I'm saying is; Yes. This is an issue. It does make people leave. But the one shown in the main post is way larger and will have a way more devastating effect for the player base. I 100% support that this gets fixed, but I really believe the one in the main post should get fixed before and way faster.
What you see from a player's perspective is different from what I see from a mod's perspective. Skyblock isn't a shop nor a store, but I do get your metaphor. But I believe we both stand on common ground

Why was this thread bumped? It's literally just going to cause controversy and arguing. Also, I disagree with a lot of the things you said in this thread. You literally put the server's decline down to rich people, pretty much.

I do not agree with what you say here, no. You literally pretty much blame a lack of players on 'rich people'.
