I have to say I play Minecraft on my computer.

 

I usually play vanilla as it always gives me the best experience. My dream was always to play vanilla resources with shaders or ray tracing.

I got a new laptop a few years ago (from potato to GTX 1650) and I always love shaders, so I occasionally use Optifine but later ran Optifine on Fabric loader as I wanted to add mods like litematica and in game VC for a SMP I play. Shaders is laggy for me so I usually don't use it.

Now I started making maparts and had to use 1.12.2 cus schematica is stuck on that version. Had to use forge loader which I don't really like due to it not being seemless as it has alot of additional forge logos and labeling. It works great tho.

Also after doing 1.12.2 I realised how much I liked 1.18 textures. I tried a texture pack and it helps but ended up removing as I prefer vanilla.

And 1.18 seems to run better on my laptop, like more FPS, smoother.

I wanted to switches to other clients but at that time was migration so I stuck to Microsoft launcher until now.

Also bedrock edition is utter crap. How the mechanics work, lighting, textures, UI and such. And they keep trying to make children pay for packs or skins.

 

I filled it out as if i was talking specifically about skyblock cause I didn't read and just assumed that was what was wanted so yeah

 

I’m going to use this in terms of Minecraft in general.

Question 1: What version of Minecraft do you play?

• 1.13+ (I actually use 1.18.2, even on Skyblock.)

Question 2: What client do you use to play Minecraft?

• Vanilla Minecraft (This is a go to for me. Typically I will use Vanilla.)
• Forge (For when I feel like using mods on LAN worlds with my dad.)

Question 3: Do you use Optifine?

• Yes. (I just started using Optifine for shader packs. I actually really like it besides the lag.)

Question 4: If you do have Optifine, what version do you use?

• 1.13+ (Again, from the previous question, I only play on 1.18.2 on every world unless I use Forge, a lot of my mods aren’t up to date.)

Question 5: Do you know about Optifine's Custom Entity Models functionality?

• Heard of them but don't exactly know what it does.

Question 6: Do you use resource/texture packs?

• Sometimes. (Very rarely will I find one that I like but I have before, yes.)

Question 7: Have you ever used custom/external music to enhance your Minecraft experience (e.g. through texture/resource packs)?

• No. (Honestly, that stuff never interested me to be honest, not sure why!)

Question 8: Have you ever played an adventure map (made by Minecraft community members)?

• Seen Youtubers play them. (Donibobes’s old videos have caught my attention with adventure maps but they’ve never interested me.)
