I don't know why hoppers were removed, I believe it had something to do with a possible dupe, but that's about all I was told. Pretty difficult to fix something when you have no idea what's wrong.
I heard a rumor that Mojang would fix it in one of the 1.9 snapshots, but it'll be a long long time before the final version comes out, and the servers are updated.
Its about time they started to think on fixing it. The glitch has been around from the start of the hopper release.
Is the plugin published somewhere, or is it only running on the dev's own server? I'd be interested in taking a look at it, you would also need to check if the plugin is compatible with skyblock since this will depend on the modding framework they've built it on top of.
I've done more research into this, and he wasn't even the one that invented it. This solution is actually very common on factions servers. Factions on the archon have a plugin that moves 8 items per 8 red stone ticks, and it's the same thing on nirvanamc sky block except what I said earlier about the 3 item for 3 ticks. This isn't a very new thing just a simple fix to a big issue. But for the life of me I can't find a public plugin on bukkit or anywhere. I doubt it is that hard to make though. TannerLittle Zambiana @mods or anyone Get this to Cyp or crew please it's a simple plugin then people will stop complaining about hoppers. We should have had this a long time ago.
Support! If moving 3 items every 3 ticks solves the issue then full support! I can't wait for hoppers to be enabled once again as I really want to start work on my sorting system. Hoppers is the main reason why I enjoy playing minecraft. Without hoppers, redstone isn't exactly the same,
Yes please. I also love how this thread was moved to suggestions completely without Joe's consent, lmao
As Joecobo has reported this is less of a suggestion and more of a discussion, so I'm moving this to the discussions section.
Bump I mean Ffs why are more people not wanting this to happen. Tons of people complain about hoppers being disabled.
