Again, It'd be toggleable, also it wouldnt happen in pm and spamming in global would get you kicked/muted so although possible it'd be unlikely.

More benefits than negatives, plus, it's a half second sound that's quiet af xd

 

It's seems like a great idea but some Minecraft users keep their Minecraft sounds off and play music in the background. Also it may cause spam to the Moderators.

It's on a server with youtubers who have 100k+ subs and they get spammed it but it's really only mildly annoying xD

 

You would only need jukebox/noteblock sounds on, just keep those high and every other game sound off if you really wanted that. Also, not to be attacking mods, but they need to do their job, and they need to be alerted somehow, having a small notification wouldnt hurt.

Moderators deal with spam all the time, it's the same as kicking players or muting them for spam. It would hardly effect them.

 

Bump, also maybe we could make it not a bright colour, say light grey or normal grey? Not black, it's too dark in chat sadly.

Only the name itself. It only shows for the user, and it'd not be too colorful, literally 1 word with color. Helps identify the message if there's a spammy chat.

Is there a screenshot of how this would look? I wouldn't want it if it was garish and made the chat look crazy, but so long as it's subtle enough it would be useful.

I'm not too sure whether yellow would be the best, as many people write in that. I've thought of an idea though, maybe we could have the name in italics??

 

Perhaps bold would work better? I tend to skim past italicised words.
