Losing so much for so few is unfair. I can't understand why you don't want to recognize it... I have so much extenuating circumstances... My action wasn't harmful for anyone. Losing more than the half of my island is not harmless at all!

I'm sorry for your loss, maybe I can help you understand a little.

Breaking the rules is breaking the rules no matter how small.

You keep calling it an abandoned island, but if it had already been griefed, it's quite possible it was a thriving island before that happened and it may have happened just hours before you showed up. How could you possibly know? Taking more from someone who was already griefed is like adding insult to injury and it's definitely not harmless.

Even if it was abandoned, why should you be allowed to take dirt and gain an unfair advantage over other players who have to trade for expensive Grass? You don't get to be above the rules just because you want to. And just because you think it won't hurt anyone, doesn't mean that it actually doesn't hurt anyone.

As for your structure, I'm sorry that you lost it, no one likes to lose something they're proud of, especially something that took a lot of work. Unfortunately decisions have consequences, and your decision to take the dirt led to the consequence of losing your structure. No one did it to you, you did it to yourself.

Time and again on the forums I see people claim that they didn't read the rules. Society has rules, servers have rules... when I joined skyblock I sought out the rules and made sure I understood them before I started. If you didn't, that was another choice that you made. There are mods around that you could have asked about the rules if you didn't know where to find them. If you did know the rules, then you really had no excuse at all.

I won't say you can't get it back because I'm not a mod, it's not my place, maybe you will. However, if you don't, you can always rebuild. Building is a big part of Skyblock and a big part of minecraft, so hopefully you find it fun and you can enjoy recreating the structure you were so proud of.

There is nothing that can be done about this. It is part of the consequences of griefing.
    Archiving.
