    Congratulations to all those who have made the final shortlist!​

    Process:
    Following on from the original voting forms, all votes were totalled up per head.
    This data was then collated into a combined list for our final shortlist. There was a lot of overlap between the two forms, so we have accounted for this by adding the next highest voted heads to our list.

    Staff and players now have the ability to vote on the final shortlist heads at the same time.
    This will be via 1 combined form - please vote carefully!
    The form includes the head names for all 15 shortlisted heads.

    We now need your help again! This is your chance to vote for your FAVOURITE 3 on this list.
    This shortlist will determine our 5 Drop Party heads + Hunt Head.

    Information:
    As you can see, we have moved the Original Head Competition entry thread into the archives to remove any bias or favouritism. When voting closes we will move the thread back to where it belongs and announce the winners.

    Deadline to vote: Friday 27th October @ 12pm EST

    Please try to avoid discussing your votes with one another and please do not vote for anymore than 3 heads.
    Anyone who has voted for more than 3 will have ALL of their votes removed. This can and will be checked.

    Results will be kept private to be announced at the DP.

    Please note, all votes are anonymous.
    Google may ask you to sign in: this data is not collected by us and is kept completely private.

    I don’t know who made any of these heads but thank you skyblock for choosing a good selection although 3 baskets is a push but Owl for the win!

    After being made aware that the design has been copied from an already existing head, the owl head has been disqualified and will play no longer play a part in the voting process, final shortlist or the final 6 six heads.

    You want to talk about already existing heads? Baskets……. Already exist pre-made. Trick or treat basket (ghost)… 90% of the heads submitted are copied.

    i mean the owl is just taken from the internet while the others are just changed up a bit.. dont rlly like baskets anymore bc that’s basically the only thing people are making now

    Ghost basket is an exact copy from the internet, many of them are, im confused why Owl was targeted, and no research was done on the rest?

    no you’re right, and ghost basket isnt the only one that only has some changes made to it.
    i wasnt trying to say they shouldn’t be looked at or anything, its basically
    "let me copy your homework"
    "okay but change it up a bit”

    edit: just to add to this, theres probably similar heads out there but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was copied if the creator hasnt searched if they already exist or stuff like that yk

    I’d hope that was the case but looking at colour matches we know not all are “original”. It’s a shame but it is what it is.

    Only heads that are directly taken and direct copies of pre-existing heads can be disqualified. We cannot police every single pixel change. Players can enter 'unoriginal' and 'recycled' heads at their own risk - you guys can choose not to vote for them.
    All other heads have been researched, only the owl is a direct and exact copy.
    Unfortunately this is the truth, we cannot stop players taking inspiration or ideas from pre-exisiting heads. This is why direct copies are heads that will be removed.
