What are some of the features, additions or gameplay mechanics that you think would take skyblock to the next level? Can be absolute fantasy, doesn't have to make sense or be do-able but just interesting ideas that everyone has been thinking about. I'd love for skyblock to allow people to buy a skyrealm. A skyrealm would basically be a huge 500x500 plot that you can build anything you wish, a shop to sell things (make money/grass). Skyrealms are their own mini server which means they also have a nether that resets every month. The benefit of a skyrealm over the traditional islands is the privacy to build in your own space rather than a shared space, bigger plot size to make the island you imagined and you can still have a coop who can connect. Chat from the main server can be shown from your realm so you can still communicate as normal. Downsides is what you do in skyrealms won't make an impact in the main server so its purely for building and grinding for personal gain. Anyway I took inspiration from another skyblock server which your island is in its own space. What is your fantasy/do-able ideas?
A stock market either connected to real stocks or entirely made up ones. same idea as a real one, have an open and close time each day where you’re allowed to buy in and cash out. Price fluctuates throughout the day based on sales, buys, made up scenarios like a fake famous person endorsing the stock or what not. There could be regular or dividend stocks (A simple explanation for those who don’t understand this stuff, basically a dividend is the stock company paying you a small amount every so often like 1 or 3 months or some time period as a reward for owning their stocks. The number is usually very small until you start owning a large amount of stocks.) Can have random days where they decide to crash the market or have it spike etc.
I want events and tournaments to be hosted once every month or something that includes a different gamemode. Like for example this month's event could be spleef, the next month tnt run and the next could be a pvp arena and the next one can be parkour for example. Really want something like that tbh EDIT: I look forward to building the arenas etc if this gets added
Having a "plots" warp where very small areas of land could be rented out for days at a time to the highest bidder. People could build mini shops/builds and it would be a very popular place for people to hang around and browse other peoples plots even when the plot owners are offline or if they are not a popular island/shop constantly advertising in chat or with /ads. You wouldnt be able to rent plots for more than a few days at a time to stop people from hogging them.
I think having a mob arena on the economy server could be a lot of fun. I also think that adding minigames where you can win a little grass/skybucks could be a fun pastime for those who mainly play to chat with other players.
first several suggestion that have already been made that id love to see added The Banker for econmy Maj return new ideas Clans basicaly clans would be groups of up to x amount of players say 20 but the actual limit can be decided later they work together to build bases on a much larger plot similar to krissy's skyrealm each month there would be or 3 competitions with the team getting a prize event 1 would be similar to 52's island competition but which one looks the best event 2 would be a defence like capture the flag or defending againts mobs the 3rd event would be just wh gets thye most money i picture it as similar to skyblock eco but very different with the ability to buy many uniqure items to nsell for more profit e going from pumpkins to roasted pumpkins to pumpkin pie to a cake ot something each or like pork to pork rib to bacon each one selling for much more
Marcawn had a suggestion in mind before that was months ago that was for the Economy Server only that it would be called as "Skyblock Socialism", A helpful server tradition helping the new players in the server as Skyblock Socialism will help them get money easier, what affects for rich players who gains money a lot which will have a new plugin called "Server Taxes" which makes the taxes higher for the rich players that makes money in economy way too much, Now the taxes won't go to the staff members or poor players, It would just be a fairness for a balanced economy, As basically the poor/new players get a tiny bit extra money for selling items or resources. The Server Taxes wouldn't affect people who hasn't earned more than 100,000 or millions as they would keep the money in their balance for not earning extensive money every day or by time, Again the rich earning players their in-game purchases would get higher as Socialism won't leave for them, No political post intended, Marcawn is a Libertarian, not a Socialist. This is just a joke guys and Marcawn doesn't know if this would be possible for extensive gaining money players and poverty players, even if this was implemented in the server and doesn't work or gets into a economic crisis we would just get rid of Socialism. Marcawn agrees with what Ca1 and Bert said with their ideas for Skyblock. LOOK!: The reason why Marcawn stopped supporting this suggestion is because we could risk a economic huge bubble that could pop and the rich players could make things creative with money around. EDIT: If only Noobcrew focused on Economy more often with people's ideas in this thread.
I may reply to this suggestion more than once, but something I’d love is a parkour with something like 10 courses for Easy Medium and Hard with timers and a leaderboard, it would be a great way to get people to play when they have nothing else they wanna do and have a fun time having a little competition, I’ve always wanted more parkour than just the individual ones at the spawn
Thats kinda like what mv prison had back in like 2014. If you don't pay your rent I think staff could unlock your shops on request of players who bought that plot. Was fun
