This isn't something that I would have brought to the forums.
No, I didn't read anything said, cause I'm sick and tired of hearing about it.

I like the discussion part of it.
It's a horrible thing, but I love to discuss with others and see other people's views.

I most certainly will! Sorry for the late response too. His parents have nothing to do with the way he acted the way he did that night. Raising a child is very difficult and you have no idea at all how his parents raised this gentleman as a child. Regardless blaming this whole situation on the parents is just wrong in my opinion. And he could have been raised with respect, you and I don't know his childhood so you can please take a step back and stop saying things that may have not even happened. The situation wouldn't have been changed AT ALL with his parents raising him with more "respect" or not. Do you know how many people out there that have amazing parents that teach them life values and "respect" grow up and get put behind bars or in a body bag. To sum it all up, we as the bystanders can't just say that none of this would have happened if his parents raised him with more respect. And that is' because respect isn't the thing that got him killed, what got him killed was the fact that he disrespected a police officer. And had his parents told him to never disrespect a cop the same situation would happen. It is what happened now not what happened while he was a child. And I believe that his parents were divorced making the teaching of respect harder. But, this may sound a little repetitive but, He had his own brain and state of mind, my parents taught me never to swear and curse and I still do. Parents taught me to be nice to the teachers at school but they still piss you off sometimes. Parents tell you to do all these things and you listen to them as a child but Mike Brown was a grown man. I don't want to get all mad at you but I just simple disagree with your statement. Goodbye

I respect your opinion. Sure, I still swear and cuss even though my parents tell me not to. However, don't you think that stealing cigars, attacking a storekeeper, grabbing a cop's gun, and attacking a cop are a bit too much? Perhaps this would still would have happened, but parenting does affect a child's personality-there are exceptions, of course. I would not be who I am today if it wasn't for my parents; perhaps this is the reason why I view parenting as such an important factor. I can understand why you're more about the personal choices, and I respect that.
