A nickname is supposed to be a short version of your name. If the character length is extended then the other donor levels with nickname can then have ridiculously long names.

It was already extended once before. We are at a sweet spot already.

Ps, on org the limit is higher and is acceptable that way since the two ranks than can use nickname have coloured nicknames.
